Bible Verse: Hebrews 4:14

Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son
of God, let us hold fast our confession.

1. What does it mean that Jesus is our High Priest?

 Jesus is greater than any other priest, so He is called our “Great High Priest”.
2. What does it mean when it talks about "holding fast our confession?"
 So, this means that our attention -and therefore our actions- are fixed on God.
After that, we need to obey His instructions
3. Why is it important to affirm the supremacy of Christ?
 Affirm that Jesus is God. Christ is temporally before all things. He existed before
anything was created. No one can claim even a temporal priority over Christ.
Therefore, He is equal to God in every way.
