reach the age of 20. A week after their promise, Jason took Nana to his family
reunion dinner. Jason’s father expressed his disfavor over Nana.
Subsequently, Jason and Nana’s relationship was affected. Three months later,
both of them had a very headed argument and Jason decided that Nana was
not his right companion. Assume that Jason intended to breach the contract to
marry. An action for breach of contract to marry was initiated against him.
Based on the facts given above, advise Jason of the possible defence /
defences.
