TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN

2. Setelah siswa mengamati PPT yang diberikan, siswa mampu membandingkan fungsi
social dan unsur kebahasaan (Imperative verb, Temporal conjunction) pada beberapa
teks prosedur dengan tepat.
3. Melalui penugasan, peserta didik dapat menyusun kalimat-kalimat acak yang berkaitan
dengan ungkapan dalam teks prosedur menjadi teks utuh dengan tepat.
4. Melalui penugasan, peserta didik dapat menceritakan ulang teks prosedur terkait
resep makanan atau minuman yang telah dibaca, dengan tepat serta penuh percaya
diri.

Procedure Text: A procedure tells how to do or make something
A Procedure consists of:
1. Aim/Goal: this part tells what will be made or done.
2. Materials: this part is a list of what is needed.
3. Steps: this part explains how it needs to be done.
A procedure usually uses temporal conjunctions such as first, second, after that, then,
next, finally.
A procedure usually uses imperative verbs.
Ex: Cut up a pineapple.
Add some water.

The example of procedure text
How to make a cup of coffee
Materials:
You will need a spoonful of sugar, a teaspoon of coffee, and some water.
Steps:
First, boil some water in the kettle.
Then, put a teaspoon of coffee into a cup.
Add a spoonful of sugar.
Fill in the cup with boiling water.
Finally, stir the mixture for a few moments and the coffee is ready to be served.
