POINTS TO BE NOTED;
1. Try to complete the syllabus before a month if you appear for one group or at least
one and a half
if you appear for both groups.
2. For accounts try to give one revision of topics which are completed within a week
and practically
solve questions to self­assess your self.
3. While completing each topic of either of subjects try to make short notes that will
help you a day
before the examination and will help you revise quickly all topics (Especially for
accounting theory
other theory subjects.
4.Specially for accounts taxation and cost accounting try to include the specific
format of solving problems of specific chapters in your short summary book e.g.
Banking companies, P&L ,balance sheet, same for insurance company final A/c,
Partners distribution sheet, liquidator’s statement and much more.
5. Always try to Solve question papers, MTP and RTP before examination in the
period of 2 months before examination provided you have completed your syllabus (1
month for 1 group).
6. Even if due to some problems you fail to cover the syllabus please get your hands
on small and important chapters which are specifically recurring in examinations.
Almost 60% comprise of small
and easy chapters in either of the subjects.
7. While solving or practicing question Do write all the problems and doubts that you
face with solution to them in your short summary book so that if you face the same
problems later or while revising before the exam day you can refer the solutions to
them.
8. Always reach you examination center an hour before and avoid reading anything
after reaching your center as long as you are confident because this can create allot
of pressure and may result to panic attacks.
9. For those who feel that they face problem while writing exams due to stress (slow
writhing speed , messy hand writing only in the exams, stay confused because of
stress please carry some soothing music with yourself(ensure it be a soothing and
comfortable music like instrumentals.) and
listen them before exams so that you can tactfully avoid stress. having stress can
ruins your
months of efforts.
10. Do not leave any question in exam remember “blank paper is a suicide note”.
11. Attempt those questions first of which you are confident and avoid doing lengthy
questions first
Grab your hands on small easy and less time­consuming questions first.
12. It doesn’t matter if you cannot solve the whole question. Solve as much as you
know but just don’t troll else that may leave a negative impression on the examiner.
13.The last and the important Just believe on yourself because patience and
confidence can help you face the worst nightmare. As long as you keep calm you will
be able to deal with anything.
14.Remember CA exams tests you knowledge, you caliber and your patience. Alone
knowledge will not help you crack the exams. Most important is to learn to be calm
and composed no matter what.
15. Make working notes and give suitable reasons and assumptions wherever
necessary (This helps them asses your knowledge and this carries marks)
16. Give working notes with reference to marks, the more marks the question carries
more comprehensive and appropriate working note should be.
