2.Count and Noncount Nouns

3.Subject and object pronouns


Subject and object ‫ا‬
He is a boy. The subject is the noun or pronoun that
Subject(S) The boy plays football. Comes at the beginning of a sentence.

The girl has a cat. The object is the noun or pronoun that
Object(O) comes after the verb in a sentence.
It likes it.
▪ A subject pronoun takes the places of a subject noun.
▪ Ahmed is a man. He teaches English. (He = ahmed)
▪ Rahaf is my daughter. She is young. (she =Rahaf)
▪ Ahmed and Rahaf are here. They are my friends.
▪ I, we, you, they, he, she, and it are subject pronouns.
