Carl Maria von Weber was a cousin by marriage to Mozart and a rare
contemporary of Beethoven whose reputation survived. Matthew has
chosen him for this four lecture series.His life was short but he left two
symphonies, two piano concertos, two clarinet concertos and others. He
was best known as a composer of the romantic period and is regarded
as the founder of German national music. Best known for his "Invitation
the Dance", You are therefore invited to an audio display of the Best of
Weber.
