Central Power Supply Unit II 01750049728
Views
Front view

Description
The central power supply unit II 01750049728 supplies all components that do
not have their own power supply with the required DC voltages.
The central power supply unit II is designed for the voltage range 115 / 240 V
and is automatically set to the mains voltage supplied. However, the voltage
(115 V or 230 V) must be set with a slide switch to define the limiting values for
detection of undervoltage at power input.

15
The central power supply unit II has no main switch and changes automatically
to standby mode when line voltage is applied. In this operating mode, standby
voltages only (- 12 V, + 5.2 V and + 12 V) are supplied.
A data interface controls the on/off functions of the power outputs (switched
voltages of + 5.2 V, + 12 V, and + 25 V).
All outputs are protected against short circuits as well as overvoltage or
undervoltage. In addition, there is protection against overtemperature.
The unit is cooled by an integrated fan.

Safety functions

Short-circuit
If a short-circuit occurs at the outputs, the central power supply unit II switches
off immediately. It switches on again automatically.

Overvoltage and overtemperature

In a case of overvoltage or overtemperature, the central power supply unit II
switches off immediately and can only be switched on again by switching the
supply voltage off and on again (configuration-dependent: e.g. disconnect
mains plug, press switch on power distributor).

Depending on the specific revision level, the maximum peak current at

plugs B1, B2, B3 varies.
The revision level is specified on the type label.
Revision level 01: The central power supply unit II can supply a
temporary peak current of max. 20 A for 1 ms
(refresh rate 60 s).
Revision level 02: The central power supply unit II can supply a
temporary peak current of max. 23 A for 300 ms
(refresh rate 60 s).

Central Power Supply Unit III 01750069162
Views
Front view

Description
The central power supply unit III 01750069162 supplies all components that do
not have their own power supply with the required DC voltages.
The central power supply unit III is designed for the voltage range 115 V /
240 V and is automatically set to the mains voltage supplied. However, the
limiting values for detection of undervoltage at power input must be set to the
input voltage of 115 V or 230 V must be set with a slide switch.
The central power supply unit III has no main switch and changes
automatically to standby mode when line voltage is applied. In this operating
mode, standby voltages only (- 12 V, + 5.2 V and + 12 V) are supplied.

20
There are three open collector input signals (PON, PFC, PDON) and one
open collector output signal (PFN) to control the other outputs (switchable
voltages + 5.2 V, + 12 V and + 25 V) and the switchable voltage + 24 V at
connector D.
If all outputs are to be controlled automatically via the central power supply unit
III, the PON signal has to be set to low (0 V) with the NEN jumper
70702001416 at connector A.
All outputs are protected against short-circuits and overtemperature. The
central power supply unit III also has a temperature-based switch-off function if
overheating does occur.
The unit is cooled by an integrated fan.

Safety functions

Short-circuit
If a short-circuit occurs at the outputs, the central power supply unit III switches
off immediately. It switches on again automatically.

Overvoltage and overtemperature

In case of overvoltage or overtemperature, the central power supply unit III
switches off immediately and can only be switched on again by switching the
supply voltage off and on again (configuration-dependent: e.g. disconnect
power plug, press switch on power distributor).

Special Electronics Module III 01750003214
The compact special electronics represents, in addition to the built-in PC, the
central control and monitoring unit of the system and is connected to the PC via
the V.24 interface.
The status messages of the special electronics are evaluated by the software
and the jobs are executed in accordance with the device configuration defined
in the software.

Controls and indicators

Specific operating states of the system can be recognized on the LED display
panel. The yellow LEDs are only significant for the UPS mode of a system with
an uninterruptible power supply.
A key is used to switch the system on and off.
An integrated volume control (e.g. for a built-in loudspeaker) and a monitor
switch are available. Using this switch you can define whether the monitor
should be permanently turned on independent of the software job.

The following functions of the special electronics can be used:

 Central ON/OFF switch

 Monitoring the central power supply unit
 Switching on logo light
 Switching on media entry indicators
 Switching on LCD backlight
 Control of switched power output of power distributor
 Volume control for system loudspeakers
 Monitoring the operating unit door
 Monitoring the closing of the customer panel
 SOP switch for setting operator mode
 Input / output of relay for external features
 Keyboard signals from PIN pad and softkeys
Mode of operation
As soon as the line voltage is applied to the power supply unit, the special
electronics is ready to operate. The logic has 2 operating states.

Switched on status Indicator: green LED

Standby status Indicator: red LED

In the switched on state of the system, the red LED is alternately switched on
and off each time the pushbutton switch is operated. The lit status of the red
LED is communicated to the program as "switch-off request". The program then
switches the special electronics to standby status via a corresponding job.
Depending on the type of job, the logic is switched off as follows:

 Permanent OFF Indicator: red LED

 Momentary OFF (cold start) Indicator: red LED +
green LED flashes

In standby mode, all individual components of the system are switched off and
the special electronics processes only the signals of the key.

Switch-on characteristics
When the line power is turned on, the last operating state before the line power
was turned off will be restored automatically. If the special electronics is in
standby mode, the ON/OFF key must be pushed. The self-service system is
then powered up with a delay of approx. 6 seconds.

Controlling the power supply

The switchable voltages of the power supply are controlled by the signals NAN,
NEN and STNANT:

NAN: The signal is created by the power supply unit, if the line
voltage drops below 170 V (switch position 230 V) or 85 V (switch position
115 V) for more than 26 (± 4) ms.

NEN: The + 5 V, + 12 V and + 24 V outputs for the switchable

voltage are controlled with this signal of the special electronics.
UPS operation
During emergency power supply, specific status signals can normally be
queried electronically
(e.g. end of capacity or switch-on status) and control assumed remotely.
The two yellow LEDs can be used as follows:

UPS active/power failure Display: Yellow LED beside the red LED
End of capacity Display: Yellow LED beside the green LED

The card reader can process magnetic cards as well as chip cards.
The firmware can be loaded, if necessary, via the serial interface or via the
USB interface.
The card reader also features a I/O port which can be used, for example, to
control LEDs (stand-alone version) or to connect an external pushbutton.
By pressing the pushbutton, which can be connected externally, cards that
have been left inside the device can be removed.
The card reader comes ready for use of a Security Access Module (SAM). The
device has an internal card socket that holds the SAM ID-000 format chip card.
The SAM module can be used to implement encryption and decryption
standards by means of a crypto processor.
The selection of the ID-000 chip card is customer-specific and depends on the
possibilities of the application software used.

The ACT version also has a feature that arrests an ID card if the system
software detects a certain type of manipulation. E.g. Lebanese Loop. The ID
card arrest is triggered by the software. The card can only be released again
manually.

After removal of the arrested ID card, the system can only be operated with card
reader CHD V2x, but the card arrest function is no longer guaranteed.
Card reader CHD V2x must therefore be replaced after ID card arrest.

Due to a symmetric arrangement of the card insertion slot the card reader can
be installed in standard position or turned around by 180°.
As in former devices, functions such as detection of the card width, magnetic
track detection and shutter in the card transport route are also available.

To ensure that in case of a power failure the current function is terminated

properly, a capacitor can be built in the system as an option. The reaction to
power failures, however, can also be determined by the application.

The card reader has an internal memory for statistical data. This data can be
saved to a log file with KDIAG.
Any errors that have occurred are also saved. The errors can be read out with
KDIAG.

DIP Hybrid Reader ICM 300 01750041226

Functions
Reading of tracks 1, 2 and 3 of the magnetic stripe
Reading and writing during chip processing

Magnetic stripe

The card tracks can only be evaluated while the card is manually inserted or
pulled out. The application software determines if reading takes place when the
card is inserted or pulled out or in both instances.
Chip processing

When chip processing is activated, the card is locked inside the module by a
pin to prevent that the card is removed during processing.
LED

In the front of the card insertion there is an LED panel.

When voltage is turned on, the LED starts blinking green until the software is
activated.
The application software can be used to determine the color (red, green or
orange) as well as the type of display (off, permanent light, flashing frequency)
and what the individual displays mean.
You will find the error codes in the Programmer's Guide for the user software.
Mounting position

The DIP hybrid reader can be built into systems horizontally or vertically.
If it is built in horizontally make sure that the ID card's magnetic stripe faces
down. This ensures that foreign objects (coins, for example) can fall directly
through the insertion slot into the device.

EPP V5

Supplier: Thales e-Transactions GmbH

1 PIN pad
2 EPP module on the rear side of the PIN pad

The EPP module is available in many country or customer specific versions.

There is a large and constantly growing variety of versions as it is possible to
choose the material (plastic or stainless steel) of the base module, the keys
and keyboard labeling (language or customer requirements).
It is therefore impossible to list the part numbers.

GPO = glass pearled surface. This feature prevents fingerprints on the buttons.
Description
The EPP module contains the following functional elements:

 Keyboard with numeric pad (0 to 9 and two special keys) for entering the
PIN and 4 function keys,
 keyboard logic including extensive security circuit components for software
protection and the protection of the loadable cryptographic keys used in
case of tampering with the housing and the electronics,
 security module for secure encryption and decryption of the transmitted
information,
 socket for optional SAM modules.
The keys for entering the PIN, the keyboard logic and the security module are
accommodated in a tamperproof housing.
A built-in battery prevents the loss of the stored keys and data after the system
is switched off.

In addition to the serial V.24 (RS232) port the EPP module also features a USB
port. The USB port is located behind the service cover.

The EPP V5 has a multitasking operating system which allows to distinguish

between the basic FW and additional security modules.

The basic FW controls communication at the interface and enables reading out
the error statistics. Depending on which security functions are desired the
security modules and cryptographic keys are loaded.

103
Port configuration (V.24 / USB)
The port to be used is selected with a jumper beneath the sliding cover.

i The manufacturer configures the EPP module for connection to the

V.24 port. If the USB port is required, the jumper has to be inserted in
a different position in accordance with the information given on the
board (see the "Service cover open" illustration).
The operating mode may only to be changed in a switched off state,
i.e. when the cable has been detached.

Only one cable may be connected.

Simultaneous operation of the two ports (V.24 and USB) is not

permitted and can lead to electrical defects.

V.24 mode
The basic software automatically sets the baud rate to 38,400 bits/s or 19,200
bits/s.
The EPP module is supplied with power via the connector of the V.24 port (see
the "Pin assignment" section).

USB mode
The basic CSC W32 software supports the USB port from version 2.0/40 on.
In USB mode, the EPP module is supplied with power via the USB port.

If the cable opening (1) is used to

connect the cable, the cable must be
prevented from being pulled out with a
cable tie (2) on the inside.

104
Reset button
The EPP module features a Reset button accessible from outside which
enables you to delete all security-relevant information. If the Reset button is
pressed, all cryptographic keys and the FW security modules are reset in the
EPP module.

The EPP module will no longer work after the Reset button has been
pressed and has to be returned for repair.
Pressing the button

Insert a long pointed object through

the opening (1) of the housing cover
and press the button for three
seconds at least.

i When a system is disassembled the stored cryptographic keys should

be deleted for security reasons. This responsibility lies with the party
operating the system.
If no software solution is available, this can also be accomplished via
the external Reset button. The engineer should do this only upon
consulting with the customer.

105
Smartcard interfaces

To integrate additional functions (such as extra keys for ID card procedures),

the EPP module features four sockets for SAM modules on smartcards in ID-
000 format.

Inserting a smartcard

Push the metal lock in the direction of

the arrow and raise the cover.

Insert the card in the cover with the

straight edge at the front so that the
contacts are facing down.

Close and lock the cover.

Replacing the EPP in the event of an error
 Check general functioning.
 Check that the loaded keys and associated firmware modules are valid.
 Check the error memory.
The EPP V5 has an error memory. This memory is used to store error
codes triggered by the security sensors. The error codes can be shown in
plain text with a suitable test program (such as KDIAG).

 Detach the defective EPP module, remove any customer-specific

smartcards from the defective EPP module, and insert the smartcards in the
new EPP module. Pay attention to the card positions.
 Before installation, check the position of the jumper (V.24 / USB) and, if
necessary, adjust it to the system's interfacing.
 After replacing the unit, arrange for initialization and reloading of the keys.
This is done by application programs.

107
Maintenance work

The EPP module can be tested and settings can be made by means of the
KDIAG test program.
If during this test the EPP module finds that the battery voltage drops below a
defined threshold value a message is displayed automatically.
The Application can also query the battery status depending on the registry
entry CSCEDM: EPP_REQUEST_BATTERY generating a warning in the error
log file: EDM-FRM Battery Empty.

In this case replace the EPP as a preventive measure.

Battery check

i Battery life is at least 5 years.

The date of the battery change is noted on the rear of the EPP module
(see the following illustration).

The date of manufacture (1) of the

EPP module, or the date on which the
battery was inserted by the
manufacturer, is stated on the
manufacturer's nameplate.

The 'Date of Battery Change' label (2)

shows when the battery was last
replaced.

If battery life has expired perform a test with the KDIAG test program.

Replacing the battery

For battery replacement the EPP V5 must be sent to the repair center in charge.

Touch controller 01750032691 is 100% replacement compatible with

i touch controller 01750067504.

The touch panel must have ground contact with the chassis via the
i
green wire leaving the connector. If it does not, the ground contact
must be retrofitted.

Operation
The touch system employs the analog-capacitive technology; it consists of a
glass plate with a fused-on transparent conductive thin film coating. An
additional glass coating protects the sensor. Thin electrodes are arranged
along the edges which create a uniform low voltage AC field over the
conducting layer.
When touching the monitor surface with the finger, the capacitive coupling with
the electric field causes a brief electrical current flow to the point of contact.
The electrical current from each point of contact is proportional to the distance
of the finger to the edges. The controller measures this ratio, on the basis of
which it determines the point of contact and signals its position via the interface
to the PC.

Calibration
Calibration is possible with KDIAG or a special Windows software.
LED display on the touch controller

The controller has an LED indicator which enables a visual check of the ready
status and operability.

Description of the test programs

Test level 1 (paper sensor test)

At level 1, the two paper sensors 'Paper out' and 'Paper low' are displayed on
activation.
This test level can only be selected when the printer is undergoing an internal
test with paper or an internal test without paper. The green LED is lit.
The order of actuation is not specified. The yellow LED lights up to indicate a
sensor status change.
If the paper has been removed at least once from the paper sensor ‘Paper out,’
the printer automatically performs a reset when the test level is exited.

Test level 2 (printer test)

At level 2, the printer test is executed. This test level can only be selected when
the printer is undergoing an internal test with paper. The printer test requires
that paper be present in the printer. If the paper is not sufficient for the printer
test, the printer automatically performs a reset.
The printer prints all character sets in Font A and Font B, such as PC437,
Katakana, PC850, PC860, PC863, PC865, WPC1252, PC866, PC852, PC858,
Space page.

Test level 3 (statistical information)

Statistical information is printed out in level 3. This test level can only be
selected when the printer is undergoing an internal test with paper. Paper must
be present in the printer for printing out statistical data. If the paper is not
sufficient for the printout, the printer automatically performs a reset.
The printout consists of three blocks of information. The first block shows the
current statistical values of the printer controller, the second shows specific
firmware (FW) information, and the third block is printed out as a form
(date/name) and can be filled out by service engineer.

134
Statistical values of the printer controller

i The statistical values of the printer controller can be set via the KDIAG
program when components are replaced.

presenter test. This test level can only be selected when the printer is
undergoing an internal test with paper.

If mark detection is enabled, the mark control test is activated. If it is not enable,
the cutter / presenter test is executed. The mark control of cutter / presenter
test requires that paper be present in the printer.

If the paper is not sufficient for the test, the printer automatically performs a
reset.

Mark control

The printer prints a horizontal line at the control mark and then performs a form
feed. The next mark is looked for, the paper is then transported to the cutter,
cut off and output via the presenter.

The paper is retracted to the 1st print position (ToF). The printer then performs
the test continuously.

The test can be aborted by pressing the TEST key.

The operating state of the photosensors are indicated by LEDs.

In some cases it is advisable to check whether the CMD-V4 is ready for
operation without using additional tools.
For this purpose there is a function button on the controller – beneath the
status display. When the button is pressed all possible functions are shown
cyclically on the status display. To select a function, release the button when
the required function is displayed.
Refer to the "Function test" section of the "Device Overview and Operation"
chapter for more details.

i The functions described in the following sections can be performed

only when the safety switch is closed (i.e. the CMD-V4 is in cash-out
position). Functions '2' and '3' may be started only from normal
operation (display '00' or '14') or when all transport paths are
guaranteed to be clear.

counter current time of the realtime clock is saved.

171
Photosensor electronics
The photosensor electronics cover generation and control of the photosensor
LED transmit stream and measurement of the receive voltage of the
phototransistors.
The optimum values for the transmit stream and amplification of the evaluation
logic are identified for every photosensor in the course of automatic initialization
of the photosensor parameters. Amplification of the evaluation logic can be
switched on four levels.
The transmit diodes are operated with pulsed current. The receive logic only
evaluates the pulse. This reduces the influence of light from external sources
on the receive signal.
The photosensors are polled one after another. Each photosensor operates
with its own specific parameters (current and amplification). These parameters
are constantly readjusted during operation. The photosensor parameters are
stored in a table in CMOS and are not lost when the CMD-V4 is turned off.

i Upon initial start-up or after clearing of the photosensor CMOS area,

initialization takes place automatically when the device is turned on.
For the initialization process it is essential for the light paths of all
photosensors to be free. If this is not the case, error message <22>
will appear on the status display (see the "Troubleshooting" chapter).
Measuring banknotes with the double detection
unit (DDU)
The DDU in the CMD-V4 is located in the upper dispensing unit. During
transport, dispensed notes displace two touch levers with in-built magnets. The
Hall sensors opposite them then generate a signal that corresponds to the note
thickness.
The CMD-V4 records the note length and thickness when reference values are
calculated.
The DDU can detect good individual and good double notes. Notes with
measured values that are too different to the anticipated values are detected as
bad and are not allowed to be presented to the customer. A bad note is stored
temporarily in a compartment of the single reject switch (if available). Notes that
slant excessively (more than 22 degrees) or long fanned out multiple notes
(greater than 115 mm) are no longer allowed to enter the single reject
compartments. These are transported directly to the clamp via the stacker
wheel and then trigger a bundle reject.
In systems without a single reject function, every bad note leads to a bundle
reject.

Safety switch
The safety switch monitors the home position of the CMD-V4; if the CMD-V4 is
pulled out of the safe, it goes out of operation.

Locking switch
If the dispenser has not been pushed completely into the safe (status display
<09>), the firmware prevents the clamp from being moved to the vertical cash-
out position by querying the locking switch. This only applies to versions with a
vertical output transport.

In the ProCash 5000 (mini) the locking switch is shorted by means of the
system-specific cabling.

173
Stacker transport
The stacker transport facility, with its retract function, is located in the upper
rack. It can cope with all output variants. The variant is determined exclusively
by the output transport facility. The single reject function is available outside EU
countries.

The SAT collects intact notes in the clamp's stacking position. If the single
reject function is available, bad notes are rejected individually (max. two bad
notes per transaction). When there is no single reject function, a bad note is
transported to the reject/retract cassette as part of a bundle reject.
Bundle output from the clamp's stacking position is controlled via the routing
disk. The clamp is closed with the aid of the routing disk.
The clamp transports the bundle of notes along toothed wheel paths to the
appropriate position. The drive motor for this is mounted on the clamp.
The routing disk determines the clamp's route as required. When the clamp
reaches the customer output position the bundle of notes is transported out of
the clamp with the aid of the in-built belts which are controlled via their own
drive motor on the clamp.
If a bundle is not removed in time the retract function will transport it from the
customer output position to the retract compartment of the reject/retract

174
cassette. The SAT can transport bundles from the stacking position to the
customer output position or to the reject/retract cassette, or from the customer
output position to the retract compartment of the reject/retract cassette where
they are stored unordered. The number of notes stored there is counted
(providing there is a corresponding output transport).
As an option, a retracted bundle can be placed in the clamp's stacking position.
If this option is used, however, no further device operations are possible until
the bundle is removed by an operator and the software cancels the lock.
The transport belts in the SAT (not the clamp) are driven by the main motor that
also drives the dispensing units.
The reject/retract cassette can simply be pushed into the SAT. The cassette
engages in its final position and is locked. The cassette position is checked by
means of a switch. A lever on the SAT is used to release the cassette.
The cash path can be seen and is accessible throughout the SAT.
The main motor can be lowered to gain access to the single reject
compartment.

175
Stacker – EEPROM

The EEPROM is physically attached to the stacker transport (in the area of the
stacker wheel).

The following information is stored in EEPROM:

 Version of the EEPROM build

 Checksum
 Firmware name
 Serial number
 Single reject configuration
 Routing disk positions
 Offset routing disk

i The EEPROM must always stay on the stacker transport.

Dispensing unit
Various models (indoor / outdoor, frontload / rearload) and a variable number of
dispensing units (1-6) are available so every user can select the right device
configuration.
A thickness measuring station must be located in the top dispensing unit. This
station checks whether double or overlapping notes have been dispensed.

4-cassette housing without dispensing units

186
4-cassette housing with two double dispensing
units and 4-channel distributor board

Every four-cassette housing contains four cassette mounts and at least one
dispensing unit featuring a thickness measuring station. The second dispensing
unit is used when more than two cassettes are configured.
The thickness measuring station must always be in the upper dispensing unit.

i If there is only one double dispensing unit in a 4-cassette housing the

requisite jumper has to be connected on the CMD controller.

The pressure that the notes exert on the dispensing shaft is identified via a
pressure sensor. Banknotes are dispensed downward by means of friction. In
each case, the dispensing unit extracts just one note and transports it to the
stacking transport facility. There is a minimum gap of 67 mm between two
successive notes. Subsequent notes are held back by a retaining shaft that is
actuated by a magnet.

187
Single dispensing unit with DDU

188
Single dispensing unit without DDU

189
Double dispensing unit with DDU

190
Double dispensing unit without DDU

A pendulum dispensing shaft is used in dispensing the notes. Each dispensing

shaft is driven by the main motor and its own magnetic clutch. At one end of the
dispensing shaft there is a pressure sensor that is used to poll the note
pressure and the 'Cassette inserted' message. Forward movement is achieved
via an additional roller in the cassette. An extended inlet slope in the cassette
results in pre-separation.
The cassettes can simply be pushed into the housing with dispensing unit(s).
The cassette engages in its final position and is locked. The cassette position is
polled via the pressure sensor. The cassettes can be unlocked via the
unlocking lever on the housing.
Voltages and signals are passed from the controller to the cassette via the
cassette connector.

191
The following elements are controlled in the dispensing unit:

 Extractor gear
 Retaining magnet
 'Cash dispensing' photosensor
 'Cassette empty' photosensor
 Pressure sensor for 'Cassette inserted' and 'Note pressure'

Adjustment eccentric
The adjustment eccentric is part of the dispensing unit and is used to adjust the
dispensing gap. There are three positions for the eccentric: A, B and C.
Position A is set whenever systems are first shipped. If a replacement
dispensing unit is delivered, it is allowed to be in position B at most.
If double dispenses become more frequent with the CMD-V4, the gap can be
reduced for the dispensing unit in question by increasing both eccentrics (right
and left of the shaft) by one level, for example from A to B. If the dispensing
gap is set too high, it is impossible to dispense from the cassette.

192
Adjusting the dispensing unit
Remove the circlip (1) on the left side
and ...

... the circlip (2) on the right side.

Slightly pull the two eccentrics (3) out
so that they can be turned.

Move the eccentric mark A, B or C to

the required adjustment position.
Adjustment position A is indicated in
the illustration with an arrow.
You can find more information in the
"Adjustment eccentric" section in the
"Function and Integration" chapter.
Reject / retract cassette

The reject / retract cassette contains two separate compartments in which

notes can be placed under software control. The compartment is selected by a
lifting magnet in the SAT. The reject / retract cassettes are equipped with a
tamper indicator. The status of the tamper indicator can be checked in a
window in the back panel.
When the cassette cover is open, the retract compartment can be swung to the
note removal position by means of a lever.
The reject cassette is largely identical to the reject / retract cassette, except
that in this model the retract compartment has been omitted. The following text
will use the term “reject / retract cassette” for both types.
The reject / retract cassette is available in two versions. Depending on the
version, they can be opened by means of a key or a toggle. Both versions can
be lead-sealed.

194
A reject/retract cassette that has been tampered with cannot be used in the
SAT any more. The cassette is stopped if any subsequent attempt is made to
insert it. A display window on the back of the cassette indicates the status:
Green: Cassette ready to be inserted
Blue: Cassette has been opened by force
The insertion mechanism is installed at the front. The notes are inserted in a
slanted position from above at the front. A toothed wheel on the right-hand
cassette side drives two intake rollers which transport the individual notes or
bundles into the cassette.
The feed area of the reject / retract cassette is opened on insertion into the
SAT by means of side tappets that are moved in side panels in the SAT. The
cassette shutter is designed as a visor.
In its final position the cassette is locked; a switch reports that this position has
been reached. The two cassettes are released after being unlocked manually.

195
Cash-out cassettes
Cash-out cassettes are available in two versions. Depending on the version, it
can be opened by means of a key or a lever.

The cash-out cassettes are equipped with a tamper indicator. The status of the
tamper indicator can be checked in a window on the cassette handle side.
Any subsequent attempt to insert the cassette with an open visor is stopped. If
the indicator is blue and the visor is closed, the cassette can be inserted in the
CMD-V4. Cash can be dispensed.
The tamper indicator can be reset by opening the lid. A display window on the
cassette handle side indicates the locking status:
Green: Cassette ready to be inserted
Blue: Cassette was tampered with
The output area of the cash-out cassette is opened on insertion by means of
side tappets that are moved in side panels of the housing.
The cassette shutter is designed as a visor. The pressure is created by a
pressure carriage operated by a stepper motor. The pressure carriage is
guided in the side panel of the cassette.

196
Cassette EEPROM
The cassette ID number is preset at the production plant before shipment. It is
stored in EEPROM and can be changed via a software command.

The cassette has a connector on its side panel to connect the EEPROM and
the stepper motor.
The EEPROM itself is located in the connector housing.

The following data is stored in the Cassette EEPROM

 value of the notes

 currency code e.g. EUR
 release date always 0000
 ID number of the cassettes.

The values in the cassette EEPROM can be changed with KDIAG or SOP

An adhesive label can be affixed to a recess on the handle side of the cassette

in order to identify the cassette (denomination, cassette number, etc.).

The denomination is lasered into the cassette if it is configured at the
production plant.

The following cassette variants are available:

Removing the banknote rails

 Pull up the horizontal tab at the end of the banknote rail to lift the catch (2)
above the crosspiece underneath the tab. At the same time push against
the nose of the rail (3) with the thumb of your other hand in the direction of
the cassette handle.

i The left rail and the right rail are inserted in the same way.

Should the rail be difficult to remove, proceed as follows:

 Pull up the horizontal tab (1) at the end of the banknote rail to lift the catch
(2) above the crosspiece underneath the tab (see illustration in the section
“Removing the banknote rails”).
Put the tip of a screwdriver in the hole
in the rail (1) and use it as a lever to
move the rails in the direction of the
arrow (2).

Removing the banknote rail – note width less than 110 mm

If the banknote rail is set to a banknote width of less than 110 mm, proceed as
follows:
 Push the pressure carriage approximately to the center of the cassette (see
section “Removing banknotes”).
 Pull up the horizontal tab at the end of the banknote rail to lift the catch (2)
above the crosspiece underneath the tab. At the same time push against
the nose of the rail (3) with the thumb of your other hand in the direction of
the cassette handle (see section “Removing the banknote rails”).
 Push the pressure carriage all the way to the other end of the cassette, i.e.
the one from which the banknotes are dispensed.
 Lift the end of the rail a little and push it outwards towards the long side of
the cassette. If you hold the rail in this position you can push the pressure
carriage to the opposite end of the cassette, which has the cassette handle.
 Lift the rail on the other side, too.

199
Inserting the banknote rails

i In the following figures a banknote width of 133 mm is assumed

resulting in a rail setting at 135 mm on the scale.

The left rail and the right rail are inserted in the same way.

Slide the protruding end of the rail (1)

under the lower edge of the pull-back
handle if necessary and press the rail
(on the dispensing side of the
cassette) into the slot for the required
banknote width.

Then push the rail into the

corresponding slot on the cassette
handle side. Press down on the
banknote rail (1) near the scale while
pushing it in the direction of the
dispensing side (2). Now push the
loose end (3) down until it snaps into
place.

200
The banknote rail is correctly inserted
if the desired setting is placed in the
small cutout (1) and the rail is correctly
hooked in (2).

The tab of the rail (1) must lie flat on

the crosspiece.

i Make sure that both rails are set to the same note width at all four
positions.

201
If you have no information concerning the size of the banknotes used, measure
the banknotes in millimeters. Round up this value to the next higher value on
the scale and insert the rail at that position.
Examples for setting the rail:

Dispensing side Side of cassette handle

Banknote width 133 mm

- rail is set to 135 mm
on the scale

Banknote width 137 mm

- rail is set to 140 mm
on the scale

Inserting the banknote rail - note width less than 110 mm

If the banknote width is less than 110 mm, please proceed as follows:
 Push the pressure carriage all the way to the end of the cassette which has
the cassette handle (see section "Removing the banknotes").
 Insert the rail in the desired slot in front (cassette end from which notes are
dispensed), and press the rail in the rear (cassette handle end) outwards to
the side.
 Press the rail down in the center.
 Push the pressure carriage to the center of the cassette and press the rail in
the proper slot of the scale in the rear (cassette handle end). Push the tab
down until it snaps into place.

i When the banknotes are inserted, there is automatically a gap

between the notes and the rails.

202
Setting the banknote height

 Press the two catches (1) towards each other and remove the inset (2) in
the direction of the lid center.

203
 Set the required note height (3) and push the insets back in (4) until they
snap into place.

i Make sure that the insets are set to the same note height at all six
positions.

If you have no information concerning the size of the banknotes used, measure
the banknotes in millimeters. Round up this value to the next higher value on
the scale and place the inset in that position.

Examples:

Note height 72 mm - inset at 74 mm

The photosensor parameters are
stored in a table in CMOS and are not lost when the CMD-V4 is turned off.

i The Photo sensors can be initialized with KDIAG command DXM

Pressure sensors
The pressure sensor initialization takes place when the customer removes all
cassettes and reenters them.

Cassette initialization
The initialization of the cassettes is necessary in case of new types of
banknotes or cassettes. With the initialization the system will be informed about
the cassette number, the currency and the denomination of the banknotes. If
necessary, you can enter more parameters.
Please observe the product-specific and bank requirements concerning change
of standard or individual changing of cassettes. Please obtain this information
from the bank's administration.
Determining the reference value
The determination of the reference value can be performed for a maximum of
40 different unknown banknotes. It is controlled by the product-specific
software. The reference value determination is required for initial operation or
Use of new banknote types.
 To calculate reference values use KDIAG or the customer application
From the specified cassette the currency characteristics, the value of the
banknotes and the emission date will be read out.

These values are transmitted to the cassette when it is initialized.

There will be as many banknotes dispensed as necessary to determine the

reference value.

The process of determining the reference value will be terminated at the latest
if the reference value cannot be determined within the maximum possible
number of banknotes. In this case, the cassette's status remains <P>.
After the reference value has been determined, the dispensed number of
banknotes is reported back to the system.

If no reference value has been determined, the status <P> is reported back to
the system. Dispensing is impossible from this cassette in this case.
The dispensed banknotes are located in the stacking position in the clamp.
 Open the safe door (see the operating manual of the basic device).
 Holding the green release lever, pull out the CMD-V4 as far as possible
(see chapter "Removal/Installation of Components", section "Pulling out /
pushing in the CMD-V4").

i If the release lever jams and you cannot pull out the CMD-V4, you
should always see the chapter "Troubleshooting".
Remove the dispensed banknotes from
the clamp stacking position and count
them.
The number of dispensed banknotes
must be the same as the one indicated
by the system. If this is not the case,
you will have to repeat the whole
procedure for determining the
reference values.
Place the counted banknotes back in
the clamp stacking position.

 Push the CMD-V4 as far as possible into the safe.

 Wait until the CMD-V4 is ready.

 After the CMD-V4 has powered up, the cash in the stacking position is
transported to the reject / retract cassette.

 Select the next cash-out cassette using the product-specific software or quit
the function for setting the reference value.

 Close the safe door (see the operating manual of the basic device).

208
Troubleshooting
Operating or troubleshooting tips are output on the two-character status display
on the controller. In normal operation this display is set to 00 at the beginning of
every reset, transport or dispensing operation. If a special state occurs during
one of these operations, this is shown on the status display and is retained until
the next device operation.
Additional messages may be displayed during initialization, after powering up
and after a reset.
It is also possible to run an internal test to see if the CMD-V4 is ready for
operation. You can find more on this in the "Function test" section of the
"Device Overview and Operation" chapter.

Checking the note paths

Before checking the banknote paths, you should perform the following steps:

 Activate the product-specific software (see chapter "Basic Operation",

section "Calling the product-specific software" in the operating manual of
the basic device).

 Open the safe door (see the operating manual of the basic device).

 Holding the green release lever, pull out the CMD-V4 as far as possible
(see chapter "Removal/Installation of Components", section "Pulling out /
pushing in the CMD-V4").

i If the release lever jams, you must check the current position of the
clamp. If possible, push the clamp carefully back to its home position.
Perform a reset using the function button. Now check whether you can
remove the CMD-V4.

231
Locking / unlocking handle blocked

The locking handle is blocked by the routing disk as soon as the latter leaves
its home position.
If you cannot actuate the locking handle, the note clamp is not in the stacking
position or there is a routing disk error.

i Note that it is essential for the banknote clamp to be in the stacker

position. Otherwise the clamp can fall when it is pulled out, and the
pull cable can be damaged.

 Remove the reject/retract cassette (see the "Removing the cassette"

section of the "Device Overview and Operation" chapter) and see which
position the banknote clamp is in.

 If the banknote clamp is not in the stacking position, try carefully to move it
down into the stacking position.

When the banknote clamp is down,

you can activate the emergency unlock
function (1) on the CMD-V4 and pull
out the CMD-V4.

232
Checking the vertical transport
Raise the appropriate locking handle
(1) or (2) of the dispensing unit and
move the cover forward.

Check the upper/lower area of the

vertical transport and remove any
notes that may be there (1).

Lower the cover again until it audibly

latches into place.

Make sure that the cover lies

i flush with the surface and that
the two sides of the locking
handle are locked in position.

Checking the dispensing areas

i In the dispensing units the dispensing area (inside the device) must be
checked.
The dispensing areas can only be checked when the cassettes have
been removed from the dispensing units (see chapter "Device
Overview and Operation", section "Removing the cassette").

233
Check the dispensing area of each
dispensing unit for banknotes and if
necessary remove the notes (see
arrow).

 Re-insert all cassettes which were removed (see chapter "Device Overview
and Operation", section "Inserting the cassette").
 Log the cassettes on using the product-specific software (see the operating
manual of the basic device).

234
Checking the stacker and output transport

i Do not try to open the clamp by force; you could damage it.

Stacker wheel area

Check the area round the vertical

transport and if necessary remove any
notes.

Single reject area

i The function of the single reject depends on the individual

configuration.

Push the green unlocking levers (1)

out, and pull the flap (2) forward.

235
Check the storage area and remove
any notes that may be there (3).

Gear tracks of the stacker and output transport

WN Spare

 WN Spare can be found in the miscellaneous chapter of the training CD

"WNSpare_V2" installation program

To install "WNSpare_V2", load the "setup.exe" file to a separate download

directory on your PC. Next, start the program from your download directory and
follow the instructions of the installation wizard. Depending on the configuration
of your system, it may be necessary to restart the computer. A database
update is required before you call "WNSpare_V2" for the first time. You will find
further details in the section entitled "Database update".
There is more information in the user manual.

Database update
To install the database, unzip the "WNSpareDBN-V2.zip" file on your hard disk.
To integrate the database in the "WNSpare_V2" program, select the menu item
"File --> Open" in the "WNSpare_V2" program. At the initial start of the program
"WNSpare_V2" you will request to select a database automatically.

Picture database

If you have constant access to Internet it is not necessary to download the

picture database. The program "WNSpare_V2" is preconfigured to enable you
to access our picture database online in the Internet. The default path is:

If you wish to access the pictures offline, you must save and unzip the entire
picture database in a separate hard disk directory. The following setting must
then be changed:
select "Edit > Settings" > "Picture" and select checkbox “Path” and fill out the
input field with your path to the picture directory on your PC.
KDIAG

 KDIAG can be found in the test software chapter of the training CD

 KDIAG is licensed by Wincor Nixdorf It’s not allowed to produce
Unauthorized copies

The test program KDIAG is available for DOS and for WIN32. Depending on
the test environment it’s possible to test the Wincor-Nixdorf hardware with a
DOS Boot-CD / Floppy disk or with a Windows 32 based PC or Laptop.

The handling of both test programs is identical.

KDIAG for DOS

At present there are offered two kinds of KDIAG files on the WWW-Server.

 KDIAG base floppy disk

 add on test programs to the KDIAG base floppy disk

The software that is to find under the release number of the KDIAG base floppy
disk is only the KDIAG operating system and only this software is installed
when creating the disk (as described below). "add on test programs to the
KDIAG base floppy disk" has to be added, so that the disk becomes a test disk
and is usable. It is possible to add every single add on test program to the base
disk as long it is enough space on the disk. The test programs can be
combined as required.

Wisely the add on test programs to the KDIAG base floppy disk should be
installed on an already created KDIAG base floppy disk. The test programs are
found under the release number of the corresponding product.

Creating a KDIAG Base Floppy Disk

Floppy Disk Preparation:
A DOS formatted 3,5" 1,44 MB Diskette is required.
Installing of system files is not necessary.
You do not need to delete existing files.
Software Download:
Download KBGB1007.zip file and specify a target directory on your local hard
disk drive. Extract KBGB1007.exe and safe it to your HDD

Unpack Software:
The test software is located in a self extracting EXE-File (as Zip-File).
Start this file without any parameters. And push the Create Floppy button.

Add Test Programs to the KDIAG Base Floppy Disk

Software Download
Choose the file with a mouse click and set target directory of the PC floppy disk
(containing the KDIAG base disk) and start the downloading of the file into the
root of the KDIAG base disk. (During start up of the KDIAG base floppy disk the
self extracting test programs will be extracted on an automatically createted
RAM disk.)
More test programs can be downloaded on a separate formatted floppy disk.
They just have to be loaded into the root of the floppy disk.
After start of the KDIAG base floppy disk a selection is available to extract more
test programs from other floppy disks (created as described before) into the
RAM drive.

controller has an automatic baud rate switchover and switch automatically to
the line speed supplied by KDIAG.
Quit this screen with OK.

 Devi  CMD-V4

The window above is a collection of all test commands for CMD V4.

260
 This manual explains all test point’s step by step, anyway a training is
necessary to transfer the displayed information from KDIAG to service activities.

 device state
You can use the device state to analyse the dispenser. The following status are
displayed:

 Interlock switch open/closed

 Device lock set yes/no
 Cassettes ready yes/no
 Status of shutter
 Transport status
 Position of the money jam
 Status of single reject unit
 Status of Operator display (7segment display at controller)

The following picture shows a device status of a CMD V4 without error after
start up.

261
262
 cassettes state

This test point display the status of up to 6 cassettes. Check if the displayed
information is correct. Double check that the displayed value and currency code,
match to the sticker and the content of the corresponding cash out cassette.
Cassette 1 is the cassette below the reject cassette.

The status of the cassette must be R=ready to be able to dispense.

P= parameter unknown (reference value calculation necessary)

N= reinserted (use the conf notes / cass) to log the cassette on
E= physically emty (fill the cassette with money)
D= defect (check or replace the cassette)
M= missing (install cassette)

 It’s possible to save the displayed information to file. This file simplifies the
cassette initialisation. The default name is cassette.ini. If required it’s possible
to change the file name.
 device configure
This test can be used to check the coding of the transport module cable
(frontload. rearload , vertical or horizontal) the number of dispensing modules
the configuration of the jumpers as well as the status of the micro switches.
 firmware state/conf
This test point displays the firmware release as well as the status and
configuration of the actual installed firmware.

The picture below show the firmware state of a CMD V4 dispenser with
firmware release 14.07
 overview diagnostic
This test can be used to display the result of all other test in one single screen.
The advantage of this test is, that it can be used to save the result into a text
file.

The following information is exclusive displayed during this test:

 DYR Internal note statistic (transaction/dispensed notes)

 DYF Capacity of CMOS battery

Push the “start” button to activate the test. After some seconds the left
window display the information. The right window allows a selection of the
single test points. Anyway it’s possible to scroll the left window down.

 SCOP-state
This test point is useless if no additional SCOP controller is connected to the
CMD V4 controller.
If a SCOP controller is connected the status and the firmware version is
displayed
 read EEPROM coll tr
This test display the information inside the stacker EEPROM.

 The smily in front of the “Single-Reject low” is an indicator that the single-
reject unit is available, if this smily is missing single reject will not work.

267
 read error stack
This test point displays the last 10 errors that occur during dispensing.

The following information is displayed for each of these 10 errors

 Time and date

 Device state
 Photosensor state
 Cassettes state

 reset CMD-V4

If you run this test the dispenser beeps and show “- -“ on the 7 segment display.
After a reset cycle it’s ready to use, or show an error message on the display.
This test is helpful to test the communication between KDIAG and controller.
 init cassettes
This test can be used to initialise the cassettes. The following 3 functions are
provided

 Reprogram the cassette EEPROM’s

 Set the note counters
 Calculation of reference values

Default values:

 When entering the data, make sure that the correct number of digits is
entered, e.g. four digits for the ‘Number’ of notes and eight digits for the ‘Value’.
Otherwise KDIAG will stop with an error.

Current no number of notes in cassette

In device number of notes in dispenser
(cass. + reject tray)
Value value of the note
Currency currency of the note e.g. USD for US dollar
Release issue date of the note ( default is 0000 )
Width width of the note ( default is 000 )
Cut tolera cut tolera of the note ( default 00 )
ID Number ID number of the cassette
Lowest Minimum quantity in cassette
 conf notes / cassettes

If the cassettes have been replaced and the controller displays 14, its
necessary to confirm the number of notes!
Mark the reinserted cassettes wit X and confirm selection with “Send”
The controller display should change to 00.
If it’s still 14 check the cassettes state.

 read/set rtc
With this test the internal clock of the CMD controller is set.

ZAC = CMD_V4 controller

It’s possible to set the clock manually (New->ZAC) or automatically

(PC-CLK->ZAC)

270
 define FW config
This test can be used to change some parameters in the firmware. The
following parameter can be adjusted.

 Double extract evaluation

 Maximum number of notes per transaction
 Single reject active (yes/no)

The upper window displays the actual configuration. The lower window can be
used to change the parameter.

 normalising device
This test point is for the production line only

 state  file
This test point can’t be used at the moment

271
 intern / selftest

This test point is useful to check the Hardware of the Dispenser. A description of the
different test programs is displayed above the upper blue box.

The most important tests are

 DA reset
 DXM init of photosensor amplifier
 DYGT status of digital- (bifurcated) and hall- sensors
 DYKT condition of controlled photosensors
 DYLD status of controlled photosensors
 DYQT status of pressure sensors

 continous
This test is the most efficient test to check the complete dispenser. You has to
enter the requested number of notes for each cassette and the number of
dispensing cycles.

 production
This test point is for the production line only

273
 dispense
This test can be used to test the dispenser.

Enter an amount and select mixture 1 or mixture 2

 If you run this test the money will be in customer access

Select “Dispen.”

The dispenser dispenses your selected amount.

Count the notes to check if everything is OK.

If you set the “Wait seconds” to e.g. 10 you can check if the retract function
works.
 standard commands

The standard commands are used to test the dispenser step by step. A short
description of all commands can be found below in the spreadsheet. If you
require further information refer to the AZM_NG Software manual.
If you send one of the commands to the CMD V4 controller you receive a return
code including status code.

example: command to the controller “DA “ (reset)

returncode from the controller “DA A”

Status codes:

A: OK: Command executed correctly.

B: Software missing: The control program required to operate the
AZM_NG is not available.
C: Syntax: The command is syntactically incorrect.
D: Out of service: Either the device locks are activated (security
switch/lock after cash is retained in the stacker /
output transport facility) or an error has occurred
and must be eliminated.
E: Device error: A device error has occurred during execution.
F: Safe not open: The safe door was not open during encryption
commands.
G: Cash not removed: This is simply a status for the commands ’Offer
cash’ and ’Waiting for removal’.
H: Cash removed: The status ’Cash removed’ acknowledges
the ’Retain’ command (with or without storage).
I: Context: The relevant hardware version is missing or the
command cannot be executed at this point.
K: Code error: An error was detected with encryption activated.

Job Command Description

SW reset DA Executes a reset on the AZM-NG.

Disp. standard DBS1,02:2,02; This command dispenses two notes
from cassette one and two notes from
cassette two and transports them to
the collecting tray.
Disp. stacker DBC1,02:2,02; Notes are dispensed, in addition to
those already in the stacker.
This command can only be executed
when there are notes in the collecting
tray.
An error message is issued if there are
no notes in the collecting tray.
Bundle reject DCB Transports cash to the reject cassette
after standard dispensing or out of
customer’s reach.
Shutter test DCT A complete test is carried out when a
shutter is fitted and configured.
Open shutter DCO A fitted and configured shutter is
opened.
Close shutter DCC A fitted and configured shutter is
closed.
Notes to W.-Pos. DCW “Notes to wait position” transports cash
to the wait position after dispensing,
before offering them to the customer.
After standard dispensing, the cash
must be transported to wait position
before ‘Notes offering’ or ‘Notes output’
is executed.
Offer banknotes DCP005 After ‘standard dispensing’ the notes
must be transported to the wait position
so they can be offered to the customer
for 005 seconds with ‘Notes offering’.

276
If the cash is not taken within the set
period during ‘Notes offering’, then
KDIAG receives the message ‘DCPG’
‘Notes not removed.
Output banknotes DCE After ‘standard dispensing’ the notes
must be transported to the wait so they
can be transported out of the stacker
with ‘Notes output’.
The cash is not retained by the stacker
as with ‘Notes offering’, but is ejected.
Wait for take notes DCA005 With ‘Notes waiting’ the time for
removal of the notes set in ‘Notes
offering’ is available once more. The
time can be modified using the editing
functions.
Retain & store DCR Cash located in the output due to the
‘Notes offering’ command can be
transported to the retract compartment
with the ‘Retain & store’ command.
‘Retain & store’ increments the retract
counter by one.
Retain no store DCQ ‘Retain no store’ withdraws cash from
the output and deposits it on the
transport belt.
This increments the retract counter by
one and sets the retract disable
feature.
The first thing to do after this procedure
is to clear the retract disable feature by
means of ‘Reset lock flag’. The retract
counter should then be cleared, after
which a ‘Reset’ should be executed.
Cancel DD This command can be used to cancel
jobs in a defined way with wait for
Retain.
Device status DED1024 ‘State of device’ checks the device-
specific data.
The data returned in ‘From AZM’ can
be evaluated by means of the key
combination ALT+I.
Cassette status DEC1024 ‘State of cassettes’ is used to check
cassette-specific data.
The data returned in ‘From AZM’ can

277
be evaluated by means of the key
combination ALT+I..
Reset lock flag DFR The ‘retract lock flag’ is reset after a
retract, e.g. via ‘Retain no store’.
Ret. counter clear DFT ‘Reset retract counter’ sets the number
of retracts executed to zero.
Read FW- ID *IL ‘Read firmware ID’ enables you to
check the loaded firmware level.
Get HWS DYTHWS Command not supported by CMD V4

 load firmware
With this dialog it’s possible to download the CMD_V4_0.bin firmware to the
CMD V4 controller.
In the first step you have to select the folder on your HDD were the firmware is
stored.
In the second step you have to select the correct firmware file.
The time of the download depends on the selected baud rate.

278
 Commands  developer
This window can be used to type commands by hand. The following command
is not listed in KDIAG but allow a deeper diagnostic of the photo sensors

First you have to change the dispenser to diagnostic mode. Therefore type

DYTCMDT (change to diagnostic mode)

To display the 1st page of the photo sensor table type

XITXW (read condition of photo sensor)

To display the 2nd page of the photo sensor table type again

XITXW (read condition of photo sensor)

To quit the diagnostic mode type XA_, open and close the interlock switch
or select intern test 1 with the push button at the controller.
Discription of the photosensor table:

DYTA
LS/ Name of the photosensor (LKL= cass. empty, LAM= extraction sensor,
L1.....L37)
Akt./ Current gain value and current to be set to see the respective
photosensor open.
Example: ”245h” corresponds to gain level 3, current 45hex. ”3FEh”
photosensor is not recognized as open even at max. gain and current
R/ ”>” pointer to the photosensor from which onwards readjustment takes
place at the next opportunity, (10 min. after a payment without any
further transactions, or, at the latest, after 150 transactions at shorter
invervals)
”+” After an adjustment which has set a higher operating point, the
photosensor still is in an observation stage (exceeding the status
threshold is not yet indicated on the controller’s hex display).
”-” After an adjustment which has set a lower operating point, the
photosensor still is in an observation stage (if necessary, the difference
can be completely reversed in another readjustment).
Open-cassette-empty photosensor (cassette physically empty)
S/ Status of the photosensor like in the self-test job: 1=production
okay, 2=TKD okay, 3=slightly dirty, 4=very dirty, 5=defective,
6=cassette-empty photosensor has never been calibrated before.
Arb./ Adjusted operating point currently used by the photosensor (gain and
current)
Ref./ Operating point saved at the last initialisation (gain and current)
Dirt/ Factor by which a photosensor has improved (>1) or deteriorated (<1)
by readjusting after the last initialisation.
Zust./ A/D value currently read in during execution of this command, with the
logical state (0=open, g=closed, ?=undefined). The A/D value must be
around 200 for an open photosensor. The ”?” area is between approx.
70 and 125; below 70, a photosensor is logically closed (g).
Phase # Phase shift, currently not implemented
