values still fluctuate, slightly tune the corresponding potentiometers until the values are

stable. Potentiometer W201 corresponds to the left count sensor and W200 to the right

one. Clockwise direction is to decrease, otherwise to increase.

1-4-1-2. If the count sensors are replaced, or the analog values of the count sensors cannot be

stabilized, the parameters of the count sensors must be readjusted as below:

(a). Adjust the potentiometers W200 & W201 until the analog value of each is 200. (Clockwise

direction is to decrease, otherwise to increase.)

(b). After both reach 200, cover the count sensors with a piece of even thickness white paper

and the display reads the analog value of each. If the values of the two sensors differs

slightly ,see below:

Symbol “-” on the display shows the low voltage level when notes pass.

Adjust the corresponding potentiometers until both values are set at the half No. of the value

sum collected when the white paper is just placed on the sensor. For example, the set value=

(72+68)÷2=70

*Note:The white paper of even thickness can be made by cutting the copy paper into the

banknote size.

(c)、Take out the paper and check whether both analog data are between “175-225”。If yes,

counted.

 The user could set the MG parameters by pressing number keys on the keypad. The min.

MG setting value by the user should be lower than the min. value of the notes counted;

while the max. MG setting value by the user should be larger than the max. value of the

notes counted(The set value is up to the actual situation by the user). Unreasonable

setting will result in the MG errors. After setting, press key to return to the level

selection status.

 The operator can add 1 degree by pressing key and reduce by key; or simply,

D. In this mode, the tolerance of both depth and width can be added by 1 through key

and minus 1 through key. You can also set directly through the 10 numeric keys. The

tolerance of Depth ranges from 3 to 20 , and Width from 5 to 20.

E.g. If you want to set 6mm tolerance in the width or depth detection, you may manually

program “6” through the front panel(limited by the precision of the sensors, the minimum

width tolerance is 5 and the minimum depth tolerance is 3). Some banknotes may fold or

torn during circulation. Due to this, if the machine is used for a single currency only, the

errors ‘DS1’ and ‘DS2’ may occur at abnormal frequency. Then the tolerance of both depth

and width can be enlarged accordingly. (note: if the tolerance is enlarged, the notes whose

size difference between denominations is small may not be correctly detected). On the

other side, if the sensors fail to identify the denominations of one currency, you can

decrease the tolerance accordingly (note: if the tolerance is decreased , the machine may

fail to count correctly due to the detection precision.)

E. IR Setting
