HSE MANAGER

Reports to: COO/CEO

Major Responsibility: Implementation of Company HSE Management Systems and coordination with
sites on HSE issues. Ensure HSE compliance through internal HSE audits.

Related Responsibilities:

a) Developing, implementing and monitoring the company HSE system.


b) Ensuring that all contractual / company, local authority requirements for quality, Health
Safety & Environment (HSE) and AD EHSMS requirements (as applicable) are complied with.
c) Imparting adequate training/awareness of HSE systems/regulations especially safety for all
company personnel.
d) Company HSE Performance Reporting to Sr. Management
e) Verifying the implementation and operation of the HSE Systems, by planning and conducting
internal HSE audits.
f) Ensure/coordinate for Company/ Projects readiness for Client / Authority audits.
g) Interaction with Sites / Client for monitoring Safety Performance, Weekly Reporting, and
documentation.
h) Focal Point of contact for HSE Implementation issues.
i) Ensure implementation and continuous improvement in overall HSE Systems, promote HSE
promotional activities.
j) Monitoring HSE related Client / Customer complaints and following up with site team for
corrective actions implantation and close out.
k) Assisting Departments with HSE related documentation.
l) Interaction with the Client and attending meetings.

LEAD HSE ENGINEER / SITE HSE MANAGER

Reports to: HSE MR and Manager (Functional) /Project Manager (Administrative).

Major Responsibility: Ensuring Company and Contractual HSE requirements are complied with,
Safety of Personnel and property, Identification, and Controlling Hazards, Training in Safety, Safety
Performance Reporting.

a) Developing, implementing and monitoring the company HSE system/plan in coordination


with HSE MR and Manager.
b) Ensuring that all contractual / company, local authority requirements for quality, Health
Safety & Environment (HSE) and AD EHSMS requirements (as applicable) are complied with.
c) Ensuring Risk Assessment / Job Hazard Analysis is done in advance of the commencement of
activities and ensuring all preventive/control measures are in place.
d) Ensure all permits are available for works on site and all safety precautions are taken.
e) Imparting adequate training/awareness of HSE systems/regulations especially safety for
all personnel and subcontractors on site.
f) Ensuring Emergency Procedures are prominently displayed and known.
g) Ensuring First Aid Facilities are available on site.
h) Ensuring all personnel is wearing Personal Protective Equipment as per regulations.
i) Monitoring Safety Complaints and following up with site team for close out.
j) Ensuring Preventive actions are taken to avoid repetitions of non-conformances.
k) Interaction with Client for monitoring Safety Performance, Weekly Reporting, and
documentation.
l) Prompt reporting of all near misses, incidents, accidents on site and Investigation/
Assistance during Investigation.
m) Carrying out HSE Inspections / Audits on site and reporting status and effectiveness of the
system.
n) Safety Performance Reporting and documentation to Client and to Head Office.
