GOOD LIFE
How does unreflective
consumption of goods - in
this case, sugar - affect
human life?
ryan zachary alpay
Sugar consumption without thought can result in numerous
illnesses, including obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and dental
problems. If you're lucky and don't get any of these, don't think you're
safe. It's been proven scientifically that sugar is 8 times more
addictive than cocaine because it gives you a sudden burst of energy
that your body can't use immediately and stores as fat. Sugar also
lowers a person's overall productivity and, if consumed in excess,
makes him drowsy and lazy. That is why you really don’t want to
overeat sugar of any kind on any regular basis.

Anyone who consumes more sugar than they should, whether intentionally or unconsciously,
should see this film. We were aware of how crucial it is to know if the foods we consume are
healthy or not after watching this movie. We may experience a variety of negative effects if we
decide not to be mindful of what we eat, including human-caused illnesses like diabetes,
heart disease, and other ailments under the sun. What we consume might just make sense to
us physically, and lifestyle choices certainly play a significant role. No matter how careful we
are about what we eat, if we don't have good daily exercise routines, everything we do is for
nothing. To make matters worse, there are moments when what is said in the contents
contradicts what the movie claims. Even though a firm may claim that a product is sugar-free
for marketing purposes, we shouldn't be satisfied with what we see in their advertisements or
how they present it. Or perhaps people act in that way because it is what is popular right now.
So that we may eat the greatest foods possible, we should be more informed, careful about
whom we trust, and sure that everything we consume is natural.

We saw in this film how sugar can be dangerous to human life, especially
if it is not regulated and checked. This film was both humorous and eye-
opening; it made me wonder how many sugars I had already consumed
from those labeled "healthy" products without even realizing it.
This film contains a number of shocking revelations such as that of one
Australian community with thousands of people who consume 40,000
liters of soft drinks per year, with disastrous consequences for their
health. And also, that young guy like Larry, with a mouth full of decayed
teeth, was extremely upsetting to behold. Many of the negative effects
are the same, including the development of a pot belly, a lack of energy,
a reduced attention span, moodiness, and an insatiable desire for the
next sugar high.

I don't think that all product users are automatically "unintelligent."
They are conscious of the volume of content they consume. Despite
the chance that they are not economists or scientists who are fully
aware of the effects of consumption, I do not believe that they are
unconscious of what they are doing. However, consuming too much
sugar might make it harder for your cells to respond to insulin. As a
result, because your cells won't have enough glucose to function
correctly, glucose will linger in the blood and create hyperglycemia.

In the title, we can have an idea about what the documentary focuses on. The documentary
underlies the sugar that people may intake in their bodies. Everything we eat has sugar,
except for vegetables. Having a healthy life and good shape makes a person have a good life.
It is a documentary that put awareness people what they eat every day. Everything has sugar
on it, we just don't see it because we were told a lie. We know what diabetes is and this is the
one disease we can get from eating too much sugar. Too much sugar in our bodies may result
in obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. They showed there the experiment of not eating
with sugar and eating with some of it. Eating healthy foods helps our body to grow and live a
good but having an unhealthy routine makes our body collapse and have diseases that make
us suffer and cannot enjoy life. If we control what we eat and have some discipline about our
bodies we can get the life we wanted, we can be productive and can ensure ourselves to be
healthy people. This documentary may change people's life and the way they eat, and
balance their food to become healthy. We know that happiness and contentment are one of
the reasons why we are experiencing a good life, but being healthy can help you to enjoy life.

There are some cases where there are immoderate consumption
of sweet foods and drinks with high sugar that can lead to over
weight, blood sugar problems and such complications of diabetes
and higher risk of heart diseases, and other dangerous conditions
that can somehow cause death. Unstable blood sugar can also
cause fatigue, headaches, and other mild conditions. Lots of
glucose can also increases the risk of obesity and diabetes.

Consuming sugar is not a journey toward living a good life; rather, it
is a journey into a different kind of life. Disorders similar to diabetes,
fatty liver, inflammation, high blood pressure, and weight gain
disease, and each of these is associated with a higher risk of heart
attack and stroke. Additionally, it causes additional insulin release
from beta-cell activation in the pancreas. Sugar also harms our
bodies in different ways. And based on my personal experience,
excessive intake of sugary foods and drinks can cause blood sugar
issues, other diabetes concerns, and difficulty to get better. Although
we still need sugar in our body for good cholesterol that a bad
cholesterol coming through because of a worse diabetes disease.

People aren't necessarily "unreflective" in their consumption of
products, in my opinion.
They are conscious of their consumption of stuff. Although it is
possible that they are not economists and scientists who are fully
aware of the effects of consumption, I do not believe that they are
ignorant of what they are doing. However, consuming excessive
amounts of sugar may potentially make your cells less responsive to
insulin; as a result, glucose will remain in the blood and cause
hyperglycemia since your cells won't have enough glucose to
function correctly.
