Good Day!

It is with great enthusiasm that I am submitting my letter of intent to your office. I,

LEOREBELLE B. RACELIS am writing this letter to express my sincere interest in applying for
the UMak SOL scholarship. Your school’s commitment to leadership and giving back to the
community urges my interest in applying to the University of Makati School of Law program.
These values are deeply important to make me feel strongly a law degree from your program will
help me reach my career goals.

I have been a brilliant student throughout my academic life. I knew that my

undergraduate course is far from becoming a lawyer as a profession and passion but, hard to say
that because my family is in financial trouble, I chose to enroll in that certain course that my
heart never want in the first place.
 I wanted to become a full–time student in law. This opportunity that your institution is
offering for those who wanted to pursue in studying law that needs financial help, would be a
great help to us.

Studying law offers the opportunity to develop a range of my skills and explore many
aspects of human life. It can give me the chance to sharpen my mind, strengthen my
understanding and deepen my experience across the full range of humanities and social sciences.

I aim to pursue my law degree at your university because I believe that the University of
Makati is one of the best schools that provide a legal education program that will prepare me to
be an exceptional lawyer in the future. I also believe obtaining a law degree from your institution
will give me the education I desire to become a fair and ethical lawyer.

I know that at your university, I will be able to achieve my goals and enrich my
knowledge to improve my skills further. If I were to be accepted to your program through this
scholarship, I would fervently enroll and prepare for the class. I will work harder and push
myself over anything and everything to achieve the best for myself and my family.
