Work Immersion: 2ND DAY

I arrive at the Hospital at 7:30 am, I am 30 minutes early before the working time, because I
arrived early, I have a chance to have a short conversation with my fellow immersion classmates,
we share some of our experiences and what we did in our first day since we are assigned in
different departments. We wait for our perspective department to open and also, we wait for Sir
Gabriel Badua so that we can enter the office of the management information system (MIS), Sir
Gabriel give us a task to gather some information about flat sound bar speaker which is for
television. Upon searching I gathered information of what specs or what should I considered when
searching a good quality of speaker with a reasonable price. After browsing online I find a good
quality of flat sound bar speaker which has a good reviews and a inexpensive price so that I
immediately report it to Sir Gabriel. Sir Gabriel ask me to send the link oof the item so that he can
make a proposal about the budget.
After finishing the first task, Sir Gabriel gives us a second task which is to install a TP-
LINK 16-port, TP-LINK is a desktop switch that provides easy way to make the transition to
Gigabit Internet, it increases the speed of the network server which is highly needed for the new
office. We install TP-LINK in the new office but the task is postponed because there is only one
wire in the office which supposedly needed two wires, one for the internet, and one for telephone.
We immediately report it to sir Gabriel that was the reason why the task is postponed, Sir Gabriel
give us a another task which is to install wires for the new marketing office for four computers. Me
and my team mate prepare the tools that we need to performed the task. We measured the distance
of the computer so that we can measure how long does the wire we need to avoid
mismeasurements. We make sure that the wire that we will install has a enough length for the
computers. The task is very time consuming because we need to be meticulous because if we make
mistake there is a possibility that the wire will not work.
After lunch break, we continue to arrange the wires for the connection of new marketing
office, me and my partner finish the task on time so that we clean the office and arrange the tools
that we use, after we clean the office, we immediately report to Sir Gabriel we ask if there is a
another task that we can do so that we can do it early but Sir Gabriel said that we already finish all
the task for our Second day. Having a good communication with my partner is the most important
and useful when we are doing our task, we help each other, we coordinate and make plans so that
we can finish our task without any mistakes.
