ADNOC Classification: Need-To-Know

1. DEFINED TERMS

“ADNOC” means Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.

“ADNOC Group” means ADNOC together with each company in which ADNOC, directly or indirectly,
controls fifty percent (50%) or more of the share capital.

“ADNOC Guest House” means accommodation provided by ADNOC that offers a wide range of hospitality
services for Employees and its business visitors, including accommodation at Al Yash 1, 2 and 6 and the
ADNOC Guest Villa.

“CEO” means chief executive officer.

“Company” means either ADNOC or one of the Group Companies depending on the context used.

“Company Mobile Phone” means portable telecom device and/or phone line provided by a Company for
business communication.

“Employee” means an employee hired directly by ADNOC or a Group Company.

“General Services” has the meaning given to it in section 4.4.

“Group Company” means any company within the ADNOC Group, other than ADNOC.

“GSM” means Global System for Mobile Communication.

“Guest” means an Employee or business visitor residing at an ADNOC Guest House.

“Guidelines” means this ADNOC Group General Services Governing Principles and Eligibility Criteria
Guidelines.

“HEMS” means Helicopter Emergency Medical Services.

“HSE” means Health, Safety and Environment.

“IPTV” means Internet Protocol Television, which is the delivery of television content over Internet Protocol
networks.

“Satellite” means a mobile device that provides satellite network coverage across the globe.

“Service Owner” means the department or function responsible for the service within ADNOC and each
Group Company.

“SVP” means Senior Vice President.

“VP” means Vice President.

2. INTRODUCTION

These Guidelines are issued by the Group Services & Special Tasks (Group S&S) Function to highlight
the key governing principles and eligibility criteria for the provision of General Services to Employees.

3. PURPOSE

The purpose of these Guidelines is to:

(a) govern the provision of General Services to Employees, by defining the rights, responsibilities and
relationships of different stakeholders in relation to providing such services;

(b) ensure transparency and consistency in the delivery of each General Service for Employees across
ADNOC Group; and

(c) outline the main categories of beneficiary and their eligibility for services according to their business
requirements and organizational hierarchy, recognizing their efforts and contribution in driving
ADNOC Group strategic objectives.

4. SCOPE

4.1 The Executive Director, People, Technology & Corporate Support Directorate has approved these
Guidelines, which shall be implemented by ADNOC and each Group Company subject to and in
accordance with their delegation of authority and other governance-related processes.

4.2 The Group S&S Function together with each Service Owner, are responsible for ensuring the
implementation of these Guidelines.

4.3 Any deviation from or exception to these Guidelines requires the prior written approval of the SVP, ADNOC
Group S&S with appropriate business justification.

4.4 These Guidelines cover the following general services across ADNOC Group (“General Services”):

(a) office space and furniture services;

(b) audio and visual services;

(c) mobile telecommunication services;

(d) stationary and printing services;

(e) newspaper and magazine services;

(f) courier services;

(g) catering services;

(h) business center services;

(i) visitor services;

(j) touring services;

(k) ADNOC guest house services;

(l) transportation services;

(m) car park services;

(n) aviation services;

(o) corporate event services;

(p) nursery services;

(q) boat trip services;

(r) health club services;

(s) maintenance & landscaping services;

(t) public relations services;

(u) medical services; and

(v) executive services.

5. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1 Group S&S Function shall:

(a) develop, own, publish and maintain (update/correct/revise) these Guidelines;

(b) monitor and assure implementation of these Guidelines across ADNOC Group;

(c) ensure unified service quality across ADNOC Group;

(d) validate ADNOC Group requirements for further support; and

(e) conduct sample audit and reviews on implementation and utilization.

5.2 Each Service Owner shall:

(a) adhere to ADNOC Group HSE and other applicable rules, regulations and guidelines for service;

(b) review and verify all requirements and supporting documents upon receiving requests;

(c) ensure timely processing of all requests as required;

(d) conduct regular inspections to ensure implementation of these Guidelines; and

(e) measure satisfaction with service delivery as applicable.

5.3 Each Employee shall:

(a) submit requests on time along with all required documents and details;

(b) comply with governing principles and eligibility criteria;

(c) ensure appropriate consumption and utilization of Company assets;

(d) protect and ensure proper handling of Company assets; and

(e) report the loss or damage of Company assets to Service Owner immediately.

6. OFFICE SPACE AND FURNITURE SERVICES

6.1 ADNOC Group office spaces shall include the following services for each floor as applicable:

(a) discussion areas;

(b) meeting room for (12 – 18 persons);

(c) central printing area; and

(d) break-out area and pantries.

6.2 Business-specific requirements such as workshops, brainstorming areas, operation rooms, studios, etc.
shall be provided with the approval of SVP, ADNOC Group S&S according to justified work requirements.

6.3 The following positions are eligible for office space and furniture as per ADNOC Group Corporate Office

6.4 Different furniture layouts and arrangement to be provided upon site condition; while furniture types and
sizes may vary depending on existing furniture within each Company.

6.5 Employees may be eligible for special furniture items, such as ergonomic chair, etc. based on an official
medical recommendation from the ADNOC Group Medical Committee.
