Pull up a loop in the underside of the first chain from Row 1 of the Centre Section. Ch 2.
Row 1: Hdc in same stitch as the one you just pulled up a loop in. 2 Hdc in next stitch. Hdc in next 2
stitches. Sc in next 6 stitches. Hdc in next 2 stitches. 2 Hdc in each of the next 2 stitches. (17 St) Ch 3.
Turn. Sl st in second chain from hook.
Row 2: Hdc in next 4 stitches. Sc in next 4 stitches. Sl st in next stitch. Ch 14. Sl st in second chain from
hook and in each of the next 12 chain stitches. Sl st in the same stitch on Row 1 that you did prior to
starting the stem. Sc in next 4 stitches. Hdc in next 4 stitches. Ch 2. Sl st in second chain from hook. Ch
2. Sl st to the second chain stitch of the starting Ch 2 of Row 1. Fasten off.
