Explore the Now Create Portal

1. Select What is a success pack?

2. Take a couple of minutes and review the following:

o What is a success pack?
o What type of success packs are there?
o Are success packs ServiceNow product specific?
o Do I have to follow it all?
o Going beyond Now Create?

3. Select the X at the top-right corner to close the window.

4. Search for a Success Pack best suited for Cloud Dimension’s Implementation project.

a. In the 'Search for a success pack' area of the page, select the Search button.

b. Using the left navigation menu, set the following filters:

• My project type is… Implementation
• My product suite is… Now Platform
• My products include… AppEngine

5. Notice the Create your own app Success Pack is located.

Select this Success Pack's More Info button to explore its details and watch the short
overview video.

6. When the video is complete, close the window.

7. Select the Open This Success Pack link and review the different phases.

9. Select the Filter Overview button on the right-side of the screen.

Note: This option allows you to filter the success pack based on any role.

10. Select Developer from the list of roles.

Note: The filter is applied to the RACI matrix. You can filter further based on the task you wish
to view. Whether you want to view the tasks the role is responsible for, accountable,
consulted or informed.

11. Close the window. Notice some tasks in the Success Pack no longer match the persona
criteria and are grayed out.

12. Select the Export button on the right-side of the screen.

13. Select the Choose File Format button.

14. Select Export for ITBM.

15. Follow the instructions on the screen and save the file to your computer.

16. Select Done.
