ALERT NOTICE FOR 2ND DOCUMENT VERIFICATION / MEDICAL EXAMINATION

AGAINST

CEN NO.RRC-01/2019

The candidates are hereby alerted to be in readiness to attend the Document

Verification & Medical

Examination, which is scheduled to be held from 20.02.2023 to 07.03.2023 and

09.03.2023 for those who

remained absent beyond their control on the scheduled dates. The list of candidates
being called for Document

Verification & Medical Examination is attached as annexure to this letter. The

candidates may download the

E-call letter which will be made live before 10 days from the scheduled dates.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1. As a part of next stage of recruitment process, the candidates who have been
found eligible in Physical Efficiency Test (PET) are

called for DV/ME as per their merit in the CBT examination. The Physically Disabled
(PwBD) candidates and CCAAs (exempted

from PET) who have been found eligible in the CBT examination are also being called
for Document Verification & Medical

Examination as per their merit.

2. The candidate must bring the original E-call letter for Document Verification &
Medical Examination along with the lower portion of
 E-call letters of Computer Based Test (CBT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The
PwBD candidates are advised to bring lower

portion of original Computer Based Test (CBT) E-call letter while attending for DV &
ME.

3. The candidate must bring four latest passport size colour photographs (without
wearing colour goggles and cap). In the cases of

PwBD i.e. Orthopedically Handicapped / Locomotor disability candidates must bring

photograph displaying their disability.

4. The candidates are advised to bring the following certificates (as applicable) in
original along with one set of photocopies (self-

attested).

A) Educational Qualification :

(i) 10th / Matriculation certificate

(ii) ITI or equivalent mark sheets

(iii) Any higher qualification certificate

(iv) Any other relevant certificate.

B) Date of Birth :

(i) 10th / Matriculation Certificate

(ii) School leaving certificate

(iii) Birth Certificate

Note: While attending Document Verification the candidate should submit an affidavit
for any

discrepancies / differences noticed in the certificates with that of online application.

 C) Community Certificate (OBC/SC/ST & EWS) :

(i) Caste Certificate issued by competent authority, strictly in the prescribed format as
stipulated in the notification,

in case of SC / ST / OBC & EWS* category candidates.

(ii) *In case of candidates belonging to OBC category, certificate should specifically
contain a clause that the

Candidate does not belong to creamy layer section excluded from the benefits of
reservation for Other Backward

Classes in Civil post & services under Government of India. OBC caste certificate
containing the Non-creamy

layer clause should be valid as on the date of interview (issued within one year prior to
the issue of

advertisement). Caste Name mentioned in certificate should tally letter by letter with
Central Government list /

notification.

(iii) Before attending Document Verification & Medical Examination, SC/ST/OBC

candidates should verify and satisfy

that the community to which they belong is mentioned in the Central list of the state
for which they hold the

certificate. The same may be verified using the following link:

D) No objection Certificate: Candidates serving in Government / Quasi Govt. Offices /
Public Sector Undertakings

(including Railways) are required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their
employer at the time of

Document Verification & Medical Examination, in the absence of which their

candidature will not be considered.

E) Disabled Candidates (PwBD): Disability certificate (wherever applicable) in

prescribed format issued by the District

Medical Board in case of Persons with Benchmark Disability category. If the candidate
has used the services of a

Scribe at the time of CBT examination, then the duly filled in details of the scribe in the
prescribed format.

F) Ex-Servicemen: An Ex-serviceman candidate has to produce a copy of the

discharge certificate / pension payment

order and documentary proof of rank last / presently held (substantive as well as
acting).

G) CCAA Candidates: The CCAA candidates have to produce the NCVT certificate for
having successfully completed

their apprenticeship in the Railway establishment along with other documents at the
time of DV, failing which they will

not considered for further recruitment process.

5. Biometric data (thumb impression) will be captured at the Document Verification

venue. With regard to the same, please note

the following:

(i) If fingers are coated (stamped ink/mehndi/ coloured. etc), ensure to thoroughly
wash them so that coating is completely
 removed before the Document Verification day.

(ii) If fingers are dirty or dusty, ensure to wash them and dry them before the finger
print (biometric) is captured.

(iii) Ensure fingers of both hands are dry. If fingers are moist, wipe each finger to dry
them.

(iv) If the fingers to be captured is injured / damaged, immediately notify the

concerned authority in the Document

Verification centre. (Any failure to observe these points will result in non-admittance
for the Document Verification &

Medical Examination)
6. Persons eligible for age relaxation must produce certificate issued by the competent
authority evidencing their claim of being

eligible for the age relaxation.

7. The candidates should remit an amount of Rs.16/- (by cash) towards medical
examination fees at DV venue.

8. RRC, reserves the right to cancel the candidature of the candidates who fails to submit
the original certificates as per para 4

above.

9. SC / ST candidates are eligible for free railway travel authority for to and fro journey. All
other candidates are expected to bear

their own travelling expenses.

10. Candidates are advised to be prepared for stay at least for one week or more, if required,
at their own cost.

11. Candidates who adopt unfair means in the recruitment are liable to be disqualified and
RRC reserves the right to take action

against such candidates.

12. The request for change in the date of DV/ME will not be considered for whatsoever
reason.

13. Please note that this is not an offer/order of appointment but only an advice of DV/ME.
It may be noted that, merely being called

for DV/ME does not entitle/confer upon any right for appointment on Railway.

14. Candidates are advised to read the conditions specified in the centralised employment
notification carefully, and appear for the

DV/ME only if they fulfil all the eligibility conditions mentioned therein. Please note that,
ineligible candidature detected at any

stage, will lead to disqualification.

15. Canvassing of any kind will disqualify the candidates.

16. Railway reserves the right to cancel the recruitment, in full, or in part or modify, and add
or delete any of the conditions if the

circumstances so warranted.

17. No Travelling Allowances will be paid by the Railway administration for appearing for
DV/ME.

18. In case you fail to report personally for verification of original documents, it will be
presumed that you are not interested in the post

and your candidature will be treated as “CANCELLED”. No further correspondence will be

entertained in this regard.

19. The candidates should attend the DV/ME with formal dress only.

20. Candidates are advised to check the official website (www.rrchubli.in) regularly for more
updates.

21. If the candidates do not satisfy any conditions of the eligibility, the Railway Recruitment
Cell, reserves the right to disqualify them
at any stage of selection.
