Introduction
 A Joyful person is a winning person
 What is Joy? Joy is a spiritual virtue oozing out of faith, hope, love and gratitude.
 Joy is not the absence of challenges, it is the reality of the presence and faithfulness of God.
 Joy can be likened to a candle. You have to light it.
 Abraham gave glory to God in his circumstances…Strong in faith…Giving glory to God! Romans 4:20.
 Joseph was a joyful man. He even asked prisoners…Why are you sad?
 Paul and Silas sang praises to God even in chains and stocks…Giving glory to God joyfully!

BLESSEDNESS OF JOY-Part I
 Joy enhances fruitfulness (Joel 1:11-12)
 You must not allow the oil of joy to dry up in your life - or your gifts/ fruits / harvest will be crushed - Ps 45:6-7
 Joyfulness makes it easy to hear God’s voice (Isa. 30:29-30)

Channel Access of Joy:
Salvation (Joy is one of the fruits of the regenerated spirit)

BLESSEDNESS OF JOY - Part II

 Joy is a supernatural promoter (Hab 3:17-19)
 Rejoicing keeps you running in the race of life
 Joyful heart produces healthy body and prolongs life Prov. 17:22

Channel Access of Joy:
The Holy Ghost (Is 61:1-3/ 1Thess 1:6/ Rom 14:17)

BLESSEDNESS OF JOY - Part III

 Joy is a spiritual preservative of blessings (Deut 28:47-48)
 Rejoicing invites God’s presence. When genuine rejoicing fills the air, God comes down! Isa. 64:5, Ps. 100:1
 Coming to the house of God will joy guarantees that you will go back home with greater joy. (Isa. 51:11)

The Word (Jer 15:16/ Ps119:162)

BLESSEDNESS OF JOY - Part IV

 Joy is of the heart that is established supernaturally, while happiness is traceable to a particular cause.
 Sin steals joy, righteousness establishes it. (Ps. 51:12, 45:7, 64:10.
 God’s spoken words as Rhema, (which can come when you are waiting on God or during preaching) bring joy. Jer.
15:16, Jn. 15:11.
Example of Prophet Habakkuk- Refused to be broken down Habakkuk 3:17-19
Channel Access of Joy:
Coming to the house of God will joy guarantees that you will go back home with greater joy. (Isa. 51:11)

BLESSEDNESS OF JOY - Part V

 Joy is the catalyst of destiny (Amos 9:11). It gives you open doors for a complete turn-around in your life and your
career. It makes your destiny to flourish. The joy of the Lord causes your life to keep flourishing. You can move God
by your joy.
 Be Desperate for the grace! I am desperate for the release of the spirit of Joy. Receive fresh release of the oil of Joy
Isaiah 61:3
Example of David- 1 Samuel 30:6.
Channel Access of Joy:
Ventilate your heart with anti-joy shield Proverbs 4:23
Encourage yourself -1 Samuel 30:6. David did not allow the fact that his mighty men had deserted him to discourage
him, instead, he encouraged himself.
