Suggested Answer:
The charts compare male and female workers' reasons for working from home and
their weekly work duration in 2019. Overall, both genders primarily chose to work
from home to save money. However, males focused more on productivity, while
females emphasized easier child care. Males also worked longer hours each week
compared to females. The rate of males working from home to be productive was
24%, whereas for females, it was less than half that at 11%. In contrast, 26% of
females worked from home for child care reasons, six times higher than their male
counterparts. When it comes to weekly work hours, only 3% of males worked
under 10 hours, while a significant 74% of females did. On the other hand, 81% of
males worked over 30 hours, while only 6% of females did. Overall, saving money
was the dominant motive for both genders to work from home, with males slightly
more prevalent in this aspect (45% compared to 42% for females). (162 words)
