Time: 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

I. OBJECTIVE
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts,
uses and importance of Statistics, data collection/gathering
and the different forms of data representation, measures of
central tendency, measures of variability, and probability.

B. Performance The learner is able to collect and organize data

Standards systematically and compute accurately measures of central
tendency and variability and apply these appropriately in
data analysis and interpretation in different fields.

C. Learning The learner illustrates the measures of central tendency

Competencies/ (mean, median, and mode) of a statistical data. (M7SP-IVf-
Objectives 1)
a. Define ungroup data;
b. illustrate the measures of central tendency

I have here a magic wheel (online
application) that we are going to use
to give fair chances in every or
specific activity that we are going to
perform, by this we can have an
active and participative session for
this class. (Indicator 6 & Indicator Yes Ma’am!

Are you ready class?
2. Motivation, 1. Motivation (Get Fit in a Minute!)-
Presentation, Individual Activity
Discussion, You are going to execute jumping
jacks, Given, a minute you need to
execute and then record the
number of jumping jacks you have
done.
Example: jumping Jacks = 20

Is it clear?

After a minute the teacher ask the

students their number of jumping
jacks and solicit their ideas on what To become physically

2. Presentation
For this afternoon, we are going to
discuss the “Measure of Central
Tendency”.
But before that, let’s see what are
the objectives that we need to attain
for this day. Can everybody read
please.

Now, we will use an incentive chart

(Journey to Knowledge) for this
lesson. In every answer or sharing
that you will give it is equivalent to
points. If you are eliciting good
manners, giving correct answers
and showing full cooperation,
I think it has
oneness and collaboration. But in

3. Discussion a. Define a circle

Create It! – Individual Activity and its parts;
You are to get a piece of paper b. Draw the parts
draw and cut a perfect circle that we of a circle; and
will use for our discussion with the c. Appreciate
use of Jumbled Letters. (Indicator Basic Concepts
6- Jean’s Piaget Bloom on Circles
Taxonomy) (M7GE-IIIg-1)
You are task to follow the steps that
I’m going to say as follows:
What is the shape of the cut-out
paper you’re holding?
Look at the outer edge of your
circle. What is the distance around
the outside of the circle called?
Fold your circle directly in half and
crease it well then open the circle,
what do you call the crease you
made?

Now place a dot at the middle of the

paper, what does it called?
Using your pen, trace one of the
lines from the center to the edge of
the circle. What does it called?

Lastly, fold in one of the outer,

curved edges of the circle until it
touches the dot in the middle,
crease it very well. Open the fold
and look at the crease you made?
What is it?
With the activity we performed, why
is it important to always follow step-
by-step instructions at all times? For
instance you are task to perform
experiment or observations why is it
important to do it systematically?
Brilliant! Thank you Rose. Indeed, in
similar way in mathematics, we are
also using the seven scientific
method in science. So, these are as
follows:
1. Ask a question
2. Perform research

By studying the concepts of circle, Circle is significant
