Matthew 5:22
[22]But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the
judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever
says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.
Matthew 5:29
[29]If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for
you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
Matthew 5:30
[30]And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable

defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.
THE FIRE OF GEHENNA WAS SPICIFICALLY MEANT FOR THE JEWISH PEOPLE OF THE
FIRST CENTURY!!!!
Why didnt John warn gentile christians about the fire of gehenna?
The Apostles never warned the gentiles about the fire of gehenna because it was an impending
warning given specifically to the jews!
Fire of Gehenna is the punishment of total destruction of jerusalem. And is not a lunishment of fire in
the afterlife.
Leviticus 20:3
[3]I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from his people, because he has given
some of his descendants to Molech, to defile My sanctuary and profane My holy name.
Gehenna is the greek rendering of the Valley of Hinnom. Where the chikdren of Israel were sacrifing
their babies to the Pagan Gods Baal and Molech and burning them alive in a furnace called Tophet.
Mark 9:44
[44]where ‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’
They were literally throwing their babies into the trash furnace, likely mostly baby girls because men
were mostly favored in those times.
Jeremiah 7:31-34
[31]And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to
burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into My
heart.
[32]“Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “when it will no more be called Tophet,
or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter; for they will bury in Tophet until
there is no room.
[33]The corpses of this people will be food for the birds of the heaven and for the beasts of the earth.
And no one will frighten them away.
[34]Then I will cause to cease from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Jerusalem the voice of
mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride. For the land
shall be desolate.
The bodies were so numerous fhat they have to burn them in the furnace called Tophet.
Jesus warned them of an impending judgement written in the book of Daniel
Daniel 9:26
[26]“And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of
the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
Josephus wrote that the destruction was so complete that no one would have noticed that a temple
existed in that place
Temple completely desecrated to the ground.
Luke 19:41-42
[41]Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it,
[42]saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your
peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.
Luke 21:20-21
[20]“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near.
[21]Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her
depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her.
An encounter with Apostle Paul
Acts 18:6
[6]But when they opposed him and blasphemed, he shook his garments and said to them, “Your
blood be upon your own heads; I am clean. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”
The jews will become the outsiders and will be replaced by the gentiles.
The warning on them in the book of John 15:6
John 15:6
[6]If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them
and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
Paul warned also gentile believers if they follow the wrongdoings of the jews.
Romans 11:17-21
[17]And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in
among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree,
[18]do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the
root, but the root supports you.
[19]You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.”
[20]Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty,
but fear.
[21]For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.
1 Peter 2:9
[9]But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that
you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

[10]who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now
have obtained mercy.

Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.

Just remember, Jesus Christ is the savior of the whole world

If we are going to change for the better as a representative of God, we have to follow Christ and walk
the walk and not just talk the talk.

But is merely being saved as through fire good enkugh for you? Or do you want to accomplish
something in this life? Something of eternal value?.
