*Both team scoresheet must be tally (same). Please counter check the Cummulative Score
from time to time. You may pause the time if needed.
Ø You may challenge the word(s) formed
Ø after the clock has been pressed by opponent

Ø Challenger types in the word (exact spelling on the board)
Ø Opponent verifies the word typed in (VERY IMPORTANT)
Ø You suspect your opponent formed a phoney

Ø If the word is unacceptable,
Ø take back the tiles
Ø score zero for that turn
Ø end of turn.

Ø ‘Exchange’ any number of tiles as many turns as
desired (At least seven (7) tiles in the bag)

Ø Press timer and take new tile(s) from the bag.
Ø Return the old tile(s) into bag.
Ø You will score zero for that turn.
Ø You have used all the tiles on your rack and all the tiles
in the bag have been drawn.

Ø The winning player shall be decided first by the number of
points, then the spread count.
Ø A win is 1 point, a loss is 0 point, and a draw is 0.5 point
Ø The spread count is the difference between the winning and
losing score of a game.
Ø Winner gets positive spread, while the other gets negative
spread.
Ø The decision of the TD is final. No appeal is allowed.

Ø First Runner Up
Ø Second Runner Up
Ø Two Consolation Prize
Ø Trophies and Certificates of Achievement will be awarded to
the winners. Certificates of participation will be awarded to all
participants.
Ø This concept paper is valid as of 2023 until further notification or
revision from the Ministry of Education and can be used at all
levels for competitions organised by the Ministry. The
competition will abide to the above rules ONLY.
Ø All rights reserved by the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
Ø Usage or adaptation by any entities outside of the ministry
requires prior permission. Division of Sports, Co- Curricular and
Arts Division Ministry of Education Malaysia.
