Some people spend their entire lives in one place. Others move a number of
times throughout their lives, looking for a better job, house, community, or
even climate. Which do you prefer: staying in one place or moving in search
of another place? Use reasons and specific examples to support your opinion.
Through one’s life, choosing where to live depends on what situation you are in.
Some pursue a better life by moving to different place many times, while others
choose to stay in one place. In my opinion, I prefer live in a variety of places
because moving would encourage me to find a better place to live.

First, when we move to a new place, we might have chances to meet new

people. I consider that meeting new people and making many good
friends can make my life more colorful. However, living in one place for a
whole life may be limited for meeting new people. Living in a new neighborhood or
even a new country might provide us many different activities and is more likely to
expose ourselves to new cultures.  Therefore, a new lifestyle and networks of people
would be developed because of the choice of moving to a different place.

Besides, looking for a new place to live could help find a better job. Working
for a company in a big country will give us higher salary and promotion
opportunities. That is the reason why many youngsters want to move to a more
developed country. More importantly, some countries, such as Germany, are famous
for their specialization in fields like technology or medication. Those places attract
people to live in because they match their expertise.

Least but not the last, moving to live in a different environment helps us to

be more knowledgeable. It broadens our horizons and teaches us things that
can’t be learned in school. I am very attracted to novel things. In my view, going to
new places, tasting different foods or experiencing different cultures seems very
interesting. In addition, while living in a new place you can see beautiful landscapes
and natural scenes, which are very different from what I have ever experienced in my
life.

Conclusion
Although either living in one place or moving many times has pros and cons, I think
the advantages of moving to find a better place to live is helpful for me. Moving to a
new place in one’s life provides novelty as well as life experience that those who
always live permanently in one place hardly to gain. For me, I believe I will choose to
move anytime in my life as long as there are more chances for a better life, a more
secure job or even a more suitable environment to live in.
