Steps for Pick & Mix Masjid Board

Here are some guidance notes to help with your DIY.
Please only print pages 4,5,6 if needed.
This guide is the property of my1stmasjid.com and not made for resale.

01 Using the tracing shapes provided in the following pages, cut out your
preferred domes and arches from old cardboard boxes or thick
cardstock. (Tracing shapes on pages 4,5,6)
Feel free to freehand any additional shape ideas that you have.
We also addded extra doors, windows, stars and moon!

02 On a larger sheet of cardboard (ours was 35 x 30cm), outline your

basic Masjid building for the cutout domes & arches to sit on.
Suggested building size: 18x14cm
Suggested minarets size: 21x6cm

03 Paint your domes and arches with complimenting colours.

See page 7 for suggested colour palettes.
Add pattern details if you like. Florals,stripes, polka dots etc.

If you have velcro dots, attach to the main board where domes and
arches should sit. Also attach to the back of your domes and arches
cut out pieces. This activity can work perfectly well without velcro, so
dont worry if you skip this step
