INC1446318 - SAP: Inquiry about COOISPI with "storage location"

Incident – Storage location field is empty in COOISPI screen.

Analysis – As per the SNOTE 1666376 - Storage Location is empty on COOIS / COOISPI / COID its need to
Activate the business function LOG_PP_MIS via Transaction SFW5.

Below are the explanation provided in the SAP help regarding the activation of business function.

For MD01/MD02/MD03/MD04

The existing evaluations in material requirements planning have been extended. Among other things,
you can define material specific limit values for important materials in order to identify critical items.

For MD06, MD07

This business function also provides an extraction report with which you can very quickly extract mass
data from material requirements planning and transfer this data to customer-specific applications.

For COOISPI/COOIS

You can use the Order Information System and mass processing for planned orders, production orders,
and process orders. The Order Information System has been extended through the addition of new list
types, so that you can now evaluated the header data of selected orders.

For COHVPI

In mass processing, the confirmation has been enhanced (among other things). You can now enter the
real actual quantities.

We have activated the business function in Z2D and tested the above transactions and we could not able
to find any discrepancies in system behavior.

In COOISPI we could able to see the storage location field in Output field.

In MD06/MD07 three additional fields has been added – Safety stock, MRP Group, Reorder point and its
running properly
MD04 is running properly
In COHVPI we have done mass processing for process order and we could not able to find any issues

MD01/MD02/MD03 are running properly

function LOG_PP_MIS.

Here the issue is Confirmation is not happening via COHV/COHVPI and proposed solution is software
component SAP_APPL 603 but ours is SAP_APPL 618. So this issue will not come.

Here the issue is we could not able to sort the data using Safety stock, MRP Group, Reorder point in
MD06/MD07.

The Proposed solution is to implement the correction mentioned in SNOTE.

But we have tested the case and we can able to sort the data using the above 3 fields.

Here the issue is the fields Safety stock, MRP Group, Reorder point is not available in MD06/MD07.

The solution is after activating the Business functions the above fields will be activated in MD06/MD07
transactions.

But in our case same happened. No issues. We could able to see the 3 fields.

Here the system issues runtime error RAISE_EXCEPTION on running the mass
confirmation via COHVPI transaction in background.
The solution is implementing the program correction.
We have tested the same by maintaining the switch confirmation fields to
changeable and running the program in background.
After running it we checked ST22 for runtime errors and found nothing.

Confirmation got posted successfully

Here the issue is we are getting the run time error in program RMMD06NEW and the solution is
implementing the correction. But we can able to run the report without any issue.

Here the issue is if you call the object overview with profile CICR000 in the production order information
system (transaction COOIS) or in the process order information system (transaction COOISPI). When
selecting a single order from the object list, all control instructions/recipes are always displayed for all
orders.
The solution is to implement the correction notes from SNOTE 1774136. But its available for component
616 but ours is 618

We have ran the report and could able to see that only respective control instruction and recipes are
displayed

Here the issue is

1. A production order is assigned to a storage location MRP area, however, the values for the
mentioned fields are calculated at plant level.

2. Incorrect values are calculated for an order on the current date.

3. Short dump RAISE_EXCEPTION MISSING_PARAMETER for orders without header material.

4. Incorrect or empty values for orders with goods receipt processing time.

5. Values are read from the production plant instead of the planning plant.

The solution is to implement correction notes but its till software package 617. Ours is 618 and this will
not affect our system.
