Her feast is celebrated every 1st of October.

She is the Patron Saint of Missions.

St. Therese was born in France in 1873 to her pious parents wherein her mother and
father wanted to be a saint and monk respectively.
At the age of 11, he developed a habit of mental prayer wherein she created a sacred
place between her bed and wall where she only thought about the Lord, life and
eternity.
At an early age, St. Therese desired to follow the Lord in the cloistered life.
When St. Therese and her father and sister attended the papal audience, Therese
begged the pope to allow her to join the Carmelites and the Pope was impressed and
given her the permission.
As a young Carmelite novice, she was not able to perform great works, instead, she
took every chance to sacrifice all because of love.
Together with her Sisters Pauline, Marie and Celine, they consecrated themselves to the
Lord and entered the Carmelite Monastery while their Sister Leonie joined the Poor
Clares.
