1. TABON CAVE
- Largest Cave Dwelt in by Pre-Historic families for 30,000 years. Located on
the west coast of Palawan.
- It is the earliest dwelling.

2. BAHAY KUBO
- Traditional Cubic House. Or Cube House.
- One of the most illustrative and recognized icons of the Philippines.
- Walls are made of nipa leaves or bamboo slats and the floor is made of finely
split resilient bamboo.

3. FALE
- Also known as one-room house
- traditional house is from Mayoyao, in northern Ifugao.
- Locally called fale or bale.

4. MOSQUE
- It is a a Muslim house of worship.
- Mosques commonly serve as locations for prayer, Ramadan vigils, funeral
services, marriage and business agreements, alms collection and distribution,
as well as homeless shelters.

5. SAMAL HOUSE
- Samal houses are also elevated on water. This traditional house can be found
near the coastal waters of Southern Mindanao, Palawan, Zamboanga and Sulu
archipelago.
- Samal houses are clustered in groups by kinship and are affiliated with the
nearest mosque. There can be 100-500 members per group.
