NARRATIVE REPORT FOR THE LESSON FROM THE WORK IMMERSION SUBJECT

Our first day with our subject, Work Immersion, started with the
introduction to Work Immersion. The topic discussed various
reasons why this is an important subject for Grade 12 students.
We were also briefed on the objectives and expectations of the
subject, which include developing their work-related skills and
exposing them to real-life work experiences. We were excited to
start their journey in Work Immersion and apply what they have
learned in the classroom to actual workplace scenarios.

The following lesson talked about unexpected behaviors and

work ethics, which circulated into two categories: strong work
ethics and negative work ethics. The following and most notable
lesson for me is workplace safety, which is concerned with the
environment and the well-being of employees. The lesson on
workplace safety emphasized the importance of following safety
protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. It also
highlighted the role of employers in providing a safe working
environment for their employees, which is connected to the
following lessons: responsibilities of the employer and the worker,
workplace rights and responsibility, effective conflict resolution,
and teamwork skills.

The last topic for us was about creating our own resumes,
which were later used for our mock interview. Overall, the lessons
and training provided us with valuable skills and knowledge that
we can apply to our future careers. It also helped us understand
the importance of being proactive in ensuring our own safety and
advocating for a safe workplace. As a result, we feel more
confident and prepared to enter the workforce.

NARRATIVE REPORT FOR WEBINAR

We learned how to compose a quantitative experimental

research paper from the online webinar that was held to educate
Grade 12 researchers. There were two research experts who
discussed their knowledge in the field as well as their experiences
when conducting experimental research and writing a paper. The
webinar was informative and engaging, providing us with practical
tips and strategies for conducting our own research projects.

The following sections and formats of quantitative

experimental research were discussed: introduction,
methodology, results, and discussion. They taught us how to
analyse and interpret data using statistical tools and software.
The discussion focused on developing a problem statement,
which included formulating specific questions to be followed by a
hypothesis. We also learned how to collect and organize data to
ensure accuracy and reliability in our analysis. This enabled us to
draw meaningful conclusions and make informed decisions based
on the results of our statistical analysis.

This webinar was extremely beneficial in terms of conducting

our own research. The speakers' ideas and advice are both
inspiring and practical. I particularly appreciated the speaker's
emphasis on the importance of collaboration and utilizing diverse
perspectives in research. Overall, this webinar has given me
valuable insights and tools to improve my own research practices.

NARRATIVE REPORT FOR INTERVIEW

We began April with a nerve-racking interview. It was a

simulated interview to show us what we would face in the near
future. For this formal occasion, I dressed up. Over my white T-
shirt, I wore a blazer and slacks. When we arrived at the school,
the line was so long that it extended all the way to the second
floor. We sat for hours, rehearsing our introductions and calming
each other down.

When it was my turn, I was grouped with four other boys. I was
the last to be interviewed, and I managed to relax before my turn.
I was instructed to introduce myself, which I did quite well. When
the interviewer asked where I saw myself in five years, I
confidently replied, "I see myself graduating in the course of BS
Education Major in English." The interviewer's reaction made me
feel proud and joyful. I explained to them that teaching has always
been my passion and I am excited to start my career as an
educator after graduation.

I finished my interview feeling secure and extremely proud of

myself. It went smoothly for me. The outcomes did not disappoint
me. I received the highest marks I can get.

NARRATIVE REPORT FOR OFF-CAMPUS

(Panguil River Eco Park – Laguna)

The night before our Off-campus, April 19, 2023. My friends

and I bought snacks for the whole trip. When we got home,
possible cancellation was announced which disappointed most of
us. However, we later learned that the trip is going ahead, and my
entire class is traveling together on a single bus, which pleased
us all. I spent the night at my friend's house so that we could go
together to the designated pick-up location.

April 20, 2023, the day of our Off-campus trip. We arrived

early at the place where the bus is supposed to pick us up.
Although the wait was long, it was still enjoyable to board the bus.
We enjoyed the view of greenery in Laguna and were fascinated
about the mountains. It took five hours to travel from Malabon to
Panguil Eco Park.

We were instructed to gather and sit in an enclosed area

when we arrived at the Eco Park. We watched a video that
discussed and demonstrated the lesson on how to make
briquetted coal. We both received questions and responded with
questions. It was fun when they made us compete for 20 pesos.
When our teacher informed us that we were already supposed to
be leaving for home, disappointment was visible to our faces.
Again, the trip took five hours. That brings an end to our off-
campus excursion.
