Clearing Cache and Cookies

This document explains how to clear the cache and cookies in recent versions of Edge. If you follow these
instructions, the following will occur:

• You will be signed out of websites you visit using Edge, including Banner 9.
• Some websites may load slowly because your computer needs to download images and other stored
content again.

1 Open Edge and click on the Settings icon on
the top right corner of the browser window.
This icon is three horizontal dots as shown in
the example.

2 Click Settings.

3 Click on Privacy, search, and services on

the left navigation menu under Settings.

 4 Scroll down to Clear browsing data.

Click on Choose what to clear.

5 Check the following boxes:

• Cookies and saved website data

• Cached data and files

If the box next to Browsing history is

checked, uncheck it.

Click the Clear Now button.
