Prez: Good morning, everyone. Let’s get this meeting started. The World
Cup is just around the corner and we need to finalize our preparation. Event
Manager, how are the preparations looking so far?

EM: Certainly, Mr. President. The team has been working diligently to ensure
that the tournament is a grand success. The venues have been fully
prepared and are ready to host matches. Our ticket sales have been
progressing well, and the response from the fans has been encouraging. Our
promotional campaigns, including advertisements, social media, and
collaborations with sponsors, have been effective in building excitement for
the event.

Sec: Thank you, event manager. Mr. Treasurer, how are we dealing things
from the financial aspect?

Trez: Good morning, all - as of now, we are well within the budget that was
allocated for the tournament. However, I would like to emphasize the
importance of vigilance in monitoring our financial transactions. While we
have planned meticulously, unexpected expenses can arise, and we must be
prepared to handle them without compromising the quality of the event.
Prez: I agree, we will make sure that we do not go over the budget allocated
by the ICC. Chief Selector, has your team finalized a squad for the
tournament yet? The deadline is approaching soon.

Sel: Good morning, Mr. President. We have been closely observing the
performances of potential players and assessing their fitness and form. We
have already named a preliminary squad, and very soon should very soon be
announcing the final fifteen-man squad. We may very well be the victims of
media and public outrage as we have made some bold decisions like naming
Hardik Pandya captain, dropping KL Rahul for Rishabh Pant who is just
returning from injury and Mohammed Siraj for Bhuvneshwar Kumar, whose
experience in previous World Cups could be crucial for us. We are working in
the best interests of the team and are confident that the boys are more than
capable of getting the job done and winning the tournament.

Coach: Coach here. I'd like to add that our training and preparation have
been intense yet well-rounded. We have been working on both individual
skills and team strategies. We are analysing the strengths and weaknesses of
our opponents and tailoring our game plans accordingly. Our focus is on
adaptability and versatility to ensure that we are prepared for any situation
that may arise during the matches. Hardik is doing an excellent job at
leading the team so far and the boys are excited to play under him.

Capt: Captain speaking. I want to echo the sentiments of the Coach. The
team is highly motivated, and we are approaching this World Cup focused on
the goal of bringing the trophy back home. As captain, I understand the
responsibility I bear and am a hundred percent ready to do my absolute best
as a player, and hopefully bring out the best in the rest of the team. I am
proud of the commitment and dedication I see in each player, and I am
confident that we will make the nation proud.

EM: Additionally, we have organized a series of fan engagement events

throughout the tournament. These events will provide opportunities for fans
to interact with the players, get autographs, and engage in various cricket-
related activities. We have also invited former players to make appearances
and share their insights, which will further enhance the excitement and buzz
surrounding the event.

Prez: Excellent work, Event Manager. Secretary, could you brief us on the
logistical arrangements?
Sec: Certainly, Mr. President. Our logistical preparations are on track. We
have coordinated with various agencies to ensure seamless travel and
accommodation arrangements for the team and officials. Additionally,
communication channels are set up to ensure smooth coordination between
different stakeholders, including the BCCI, the team, the participating
teams and the event management team.

Trez: I would like to emphasize the importance of maintaining strict

financial discipline throughout the event. While we aim for excellence and
to attempt to host a spectacle that will be talked about for years, it's
essential that we keep our expenditures in check to avoid any financial
strain.

Capt: From a player's perspective, I would like to highlight the significance

of recovery strategies. Although we are focused and on track for our
preparations, both physically and mentally, the tournament schedule is
intense, and we need to ensure that we players have adequate time for rest
and recovery between matches, so we can aim to stay composed under
pressure and deliver consistent performances.

Coach: Absolutely. Player well-being is a top priority. We are working closely

with the medical team to develop strategies that will help the players
maintain peak performance while minimizing the risk of injuries and
burnout.

Prez: Wonderful. To sum up, Event Manager, please continue your efforts in
promoting the tournament. Treasurer, keep a watchful eye on our finances.
Selector and Coach, your dedication to team selection and preparation is
commendable. Hardik, your leadership is crucial and we are sure that you
and your team will do a good job. Mr. Secretary, we have to ensure that
coordination is seamless across all aspects of the event. Remember, we are
representing the country, and hosting multiple countries and fans from all
over the world. Our collective efforts will define our success. Best of luck to
