SAP S/4HANA Asset Management On Premise

SAP S/4HANA Asset Management On Premise supports all maintenance processes
according to the traditional model where customers buy a license and configure and run the
software on their own infrastructure. You can work with either SAP GUI or Fiori Launchpad.
SAP S/4HANA Asset Management Cloud
In SAP S/4HANA Asset Management Cloud Edition you work via the SAP Fiori Launchpad.
Within the Public Cloud deployment model you do not have access to the SAP S/4HANA
backend system as this is hosted and managed by SAP.
However, you can configure the customer-specific parts of the solution via the Self-Service
Configuration UI, which runs in the Fiori Launchpad.
The appearance of the Fiori Launchpad is determined by roles that are assigned to the user
on the front-end system. The frontend roles for Asset Management are available both for the
cloud and the on-premise edition.

Note:
There is no access provided to a cloud-based system for this course.
Consequently, there will be no demo for a cloud-based scenario.

Client Types

Figure 8: Client Types

The most widely spread client type is SAP GUI. In the SAP GUI, you normally execute the
transactions of the SAP Business Suite. It comes with the following versions:
● SAP GUI for Windows (WinGUI)
● SAP GUI for HTML (WebGUI)
● SAP GUI for JAVA

SAP GUI Technology

SAP GUI is based on the Dynpro technology and allows the separation of user interface and
SAP system. This is why changes in the GUI do not affect the business logic.

3/13/2020 SAP e-book

Unit 1: SAP Asset Management

In addition, the existing infrastructure, such as bandwidth, terminal server, different back-end
releases, etc., affects the GUI.
SAP GUI Themes
The graphical appearance of SAP GUI can be adjusted using so-called themes. Via themes
you can influence the appearance of symbols, buttons and pull-down menus. Some themes
were especially designed to increase the similarity with the web clients (SAP Fiori Launchpad,
SAP Business Client). The Belize theme for example creates a similar experience to the one
you have in the standard theme (with the same name) of the SAP Fiori Launchpad.
Business Client
SAP Business Client (BC) – formerly known as NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC) – is a user
interface client providing a role-based single entry point to SAP business applications. SAP
Business Client integrates various UI frameworks and design generations aimed at a more
efficient, intuitive, and complete user experience over different UI technologies, in particular
harmonizing access to existing SAP GUI transactions and applications based on Web Dynpro
ABAP.
BC is available in the following two versions:
● BC for Desktop (rich client)
● BC for HTML (thin, browser-based, zero footprint client)

Version 6.0 also supports the SAP Fiori launchpad, therefore, SAP Fiori apps can also be
started through the Business Client.BC supports next to Dynpro technology also Web Dynpro
Technology (using Floorplan Manager (FPM) as framework).

SAP Fiori Launchpad

The SAP Fiori launchpad is a role-based, personalized UI client based on SAPUI5, and can be
deployed on different device types and platforms (SAP NetWeaver Application Server (ABAP
Stack), SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP Cloud Platform). SAP Fiori launchpad is browser-based
and represents the central point of access for the usage of SAP Fiori apps.
SAP Fiori launchpad supports SAPUI5 technology (HTML5). Furthermore, SAP GUI for HTML
and Web Dynpro are also supported.

One of the major goals of SAP Intelligent Asset Management is to enable an IT driven (data
science & rules driven) approach to predictive maintenance in order to reduce unplanned
failures and the number of overall maintenance actions.
This means that the traditional approach to maintenance - mostly consisting of a combination
of reactive and preventive maintenance - is to be transformed into an approach largely driven
by predictive maintenance. This is enabled by the Internet of Things (IoT) which is based on
big data and cheap computing power thereby leading to an increased use of predictive
maintenance.
Although still relevant, preventive maintenance can result in over-maintaining assets and
higher costs and therefore is to be closely monitored and optimized.
SAP Intelligent Asset Management has the following capabilities:
● Information: Highlight Cards, Data Sheets, Equipment/Model Information, Installation
Location, Business Partners
● Structure and Parts: Structure, Spare Parts, Visual Parts

SAP Asset Strategy and Performance Management (ASPM)

Figure 12: SAP ASPM - Create Assessments and Optimize Maintenance

This is done in the following phases:

● Define Systems & Assets to Analyze : Asset Central Foundation enables asset information
to be modelled utilizing templates based on ISO standards e.g. ISO14224. Models,
equipment, locations, systems, groups, spare parts, documents, instructions, failure
modes are all included in Asset Central Foundation.
● Identify Critical Assets: The Risk and Criticality assessment ranks assets by risk and
criticality which can then be used as the basis for further analysis. This is achieved by
setting up a matrix of consequence of failure vs probability of failure.
● Perform Analysis: Use proven methodologies like Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM),
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Risk Based Inspection* (RBI), Root Cause
Analysis* (RCA) to identify the optimal maintenance strategies for your assets. (* =
planned)
● Develop Recommended Actions: The result of the RCM/FMEA will be recommendations
for preventive and/or corrective tasks. The Preventive Maintenance Review (PMR)
application manages the recommendations to create published instructions.
● Execute Maintenance Strategies: Implement the Instructions in the maintenance
management system.
● Monitor and Improve: Continuously monitor the performance and effectiveness of the
maintenance strategies

Perform RCM or FMEA Assessment

SAP Predictive Engineering Insights (PEI)

Figure 16: SAP Predictive Engineering Insights - Asset Health Prediction

SAP Predictive Engineering Insights (PEI) enabled by ANSYS is a cloud solution which
● helps manufacturers to gain insights into the live performance of equipment by using big
data analytics
● combines big data analytics with physics-based simulations
● helps analyze emerging malfunctions
● views alerts and analyze stress levels in real time
● executes Structural Analysis based on sensor data
● uses Vibration Analysis to detect developing faults in machine components and to predict
their failure

SAP Predictive Engineering Insights enabled by ANSYS uses data from physical sensors on a
piece of equipment as input for simulating the stresses and strains on a digital representation
of the equipment.
To process and analyze external forces that act on equipment, there must be at least one
physical sensor that measures the impact of the external force on the equipment. The
physical sensors transmit data about the external forces to SAP Predictive Engineering
Insights enabled by ANSYS in real time. The solution uses data from the physical sensors as
input for an actuator on the equipment's digital twin. The actuator prescribes the
corresponding motion of the digital twin.

SAP Asset Manager is a predictive asset management application that encompasses a series
of processes required to assure superior asset performance. Through using SAP Asset
Manager, you can achieve operational excellence by collaborating on asset information,
predictive maintenance, and procurement of spares and services.
A typical SAP Asset Manager technician process is as follows:

1. Technician downloads work orders generated through planned, predictive, or corrective

processes.

2. Technician travels to location of equipment under maintenance.

3. Technician captures field data while performing equipment maintenance work.

4. Technician reports time and material consumption.

5. Technician interacts with crew, team leads, suppliers, contractors, and back office
colleagues.

SAP Asset Manager leverages the digital core with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform as
the Internet of Things (IoT) platform for managing assets.
The SAP Asset Manager application supports technicians who maintain enterprise assets. It
allows them to perform their jobs using complex information and business logic that is always
available whether they are connected to the network or working in offline environments.

Business Functions

LESSON OBJECTIVES
After completing this lesson, you will be able to:
● Describe Business Functions

Describe Business Functions

Figure 19: Switch Framework

Business Functions enable you to considerably simplify the process of introducing and using
SAP S/4HANA. This technology enables you to selectively introduce individual features and
to optimize selected business processes.
With business functions, SAP provides features in self-contained units to enable you to use
specific features and enhancements for your various business processes.
The business function concept has two aspects:
● The business function as a self-contained entity comprising special features.
● The business function as a technical object in your ABAP-based system. Along with this
object, you also activate the features in your ABAP-based system using transaction SFW5.

You call transaction SFW5 in your ABAP-based system from the first Customizing activity in
your Implementation Guide. It provides a series of functions that simplify the use of the
special features for you.
When you have activated a business function, the following changes and additional features
are visible:
● New menu entries
● New fields on the user interfaces

© Copyright. All rights reserved. 22

1/1
3/13/2020 SAP e-book

Lesson: Business Functions

● Customizing activities required for the implementation

● New table entries in Customizing tables and system tables

From a technical view, the business functions consist of individual switches that can be used
to activate coding strings, menu entries, and Customizing activities in the Implementation
Guide.
You cannot undo the activation of a business function in a live system. Deactivating a specific,
active business function is possible only for test purposes.
Activating and using the contents of a business function stores data on databases, executes
process steps, changes user interfaces, sets statuses, and much more. Therefore, for
technical reasons, it is not possible to reverse the activation of a business function, since this
can lead to irreparable data inconsistencies in the system. This is especially the case for live
systems.
Nonetheless, it would be helpful in many cases to be able to first test a business function
without having to build a separate system for the test. For this reason, SAP delivers some
business functions for which it is possible to reverse their activation. This type of business
function is called reversible.

Note:
Caution: You can reverse the activation of business functions only in development

Before activating Business Functions you must consider that some of the functions are
always active and others have to be activated. So the following groups must be considered:
● S/4HANA Always On Functions
● Enterprise Business Functions

Group S/4HANA Always On Functions f.ex. contains functions LOG_EAM_POM and

LOG_EAM_POM2 (Project-oriented Maintenance / MEB) as well as LOG_EAM_ROTSUB and

LOG_EAM_ROTSUB2 (Reburbishment / Subcontracting). These functions were activated by

SAP and will remain always on.

In group Enterprise Business Functions you will find inactive functions that you can activate
individually. Some functions depend on the activation of other functions. This is documented
in transaction SFW5.

The usual naming convention for Business Functions in Asset Management is

LOG_EAM_XXX_XX.
The LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY_XX functions provide the web applications for Asset
Management.

Figure 27: Integration: Notification — Order via SAP Fiori App

Notifications can be assigned to an existing order or one that is newly created via a SAP Fiori
App. If a task list is assigned to the notification, then the operations of the task list are
transferred to the order operation list.

Note:
You can create a notification with an assigned task list via SAP Fiori App, by
scheduling a maintenance plan with call object notification.

If a notification is deleted from the order's object list, then all operations transferred by the
notification's task list will also be deleted.
In the object list, the header notification is identified by the checkbox Header Notification. You
can use this feature to mark, in the object list, a notification that has been assigned to the
order as a header notification or change a header notification that already exists.

You use the object list to assign technical objects (equipment, functional locations),
assemblies, maintenance notifications, or objects that are identified by a combination of
material and serial number to a maintenance order. With this product feature, you can assign
objects that have been entered in the object list to individual order operations or
suboperations. You can make this assignment in the object list or also in the operation data
when you are editing a maintenance order via SAP Fiori App. Only one single object can be
assigned to each operation or suboperation.

Figure 31: Enhancements of Operations, Materials and Object List entries via SAP Fiori Apps

There are a number of enhancements which simplify maintenance processing.

Operation List
● Starting from the order Operation List, you can assign an order operation to an Object List
Entry, i.e., Technical Object or Notification.
● You can copy existing order operations.

Materials List
● You can copy existing material assignments to order operations.
● You can reassign materials and all their material data from one order operation to another.

Object List
● In the object list, the header notification is identified by the checkbox Header Notification
● You can reassign the header notification.

Generating the Object List in the Maintenance Order

You can define your own logic for generating the object list in maintenance orders. By using
an object list, you can create logical groups of similar or interlinked technical objects,
notifications, and objects which are identified by a combination of material and serial
numbers, and link them to a maintenance order. You can specify that object list entries are
generated every time the maintenance order is saved, the default settlement rule is
generated, or the technical object is changed in the order header. Since generating the object
list can have an impact on system performance, you can specify in the implementation of the
Business Add-In (BAdI) BAdI: Generating Object List in Maintenance Orders
(BADI_EAM_GENERATE_OBJ_LIST) at which event the object list is generated during order
maintenance.

Copying Descriptive Texts from the Maintenance Order to the Purchase Requisition
With this feature, you can use six additional text buttons to describe maintenance order
operations and components in more detail. For operations to be processed externally and for
non-stock materials the system generates accompanying purchase requisitions and copies
the descriptive texts assigned to the order operations or to the components into the purchase
requisitions. You can specify in Customizing for Purchasing whether the copied texts shall
only be displayed in the purchase requisition or whether they can be adopted and therefore
are editable and available in a printable format. Furthermore, you can create customer-
specific labels and tooltips for the six additional text buttons and table columns in
Customizing for Plant Maintenance and Customer Service.

Mass Change of Additional Order Header Data and Customer-Specific Fields

This feature provides you with an enhanced mass processing option in the order list (SAP GUI
transaction IW38). You can simultaneously change additional order header data as well as
field contents of customer-specific fields for multiple maintenance orders.

In the order list, there is an enhanced number of fields that are editable via mass change.
The additional fields are located on various tab pages that correspond to the tab pages
when processing the order header
On the tab page Customer-Specific Data you can simultaneously edit field contents of
customer-specific fields in multiple selected maintenance orders.

Specifying Default Settlement Rules for the Maintenance Order

With this feature you can specify default settlement rules for a combination of order type and
plant in Customizing for Maintenance and Service Orders. You can determine whether the
system is to carry out periodic or full settlement. Subsequently, the maintenance order is
settled according to this settlement rule when you maintain a settlement rule with default
during order processing.
The system also assigns the default settlement rule if this assignment is to be made
automatically when the order is released or completed. The default settlement rule is
assigned on operation level when the order type is set for operation account assignment. You
can also use this function when you edit maintenance orders in the basic order view.

You can carry out a mass change in the order and operation list (SAP GUI transactionIW37N)
and simultaneously process certain field contents for additional fields in the order header and
in the order operations. Particularly, you can change the user status and data of customer-
specific fields in multiple selected maintenance orders or order operations.

Figure 50: SAP Fiori Apps: Find Maintenance Task List — Find Maintenance Task List and Operation

Find Maintenance Task List

With this app, you can find and display Equipment task lists, Functional location task lists and
General maintenance task lists.
The main features can be summarized as follows:
● Display maintenance task lists by using the free text search or by filtering for parameters,
such as Planning Plant, Work Center, and Key Date
● Display a single maintenance task list
● Show general information about the maintenance task list
● Show the details of the related operations

Find Maintenance Task List and Operation

With this app, you can find and display Equipment task lists, Functional location task lists,
General maintenance task lists and their operations.
The main features of this App are very similar to Find Maintenance Task List , but focus on
operation-specific criteria regarding selection and display.

Copying a Task List

You can use an existing task list as a template (reference) when creating a new task list. The
system copies the general data and the operation data of the task list as default values to the
new task list. You can specify whether you want to also copy relationships, permits, linked
documents, and task list descriptions to the new task list.
If you create a maintenance task list by copying an existing one, assigned service packages as
well as limits are copied to the new maintenance task list.

Figure 51: SAP Fiori App: Display Maintenance Plan

As a maintenance technician, you can use this app to view the planning data for recurrent
maintenance work that is stored in time-based and performance-based maintenance plans,
strategy plans, and multiple counter plans. In time-based maintenance planning, maintenance
is performed in specific cycles, for example, every two months or every six months.
Performance-based maintenance plans contain information about regular maintenance. This
is based on counter readings that are maintained for measuring points of pieces of equipment
and at functional locations.
You can copy a Maintenance Plan once you have chosen the option Allow as Copy Template .
Additionally, you can use various apps to support the preventive maintenance process.

Unit 4: Preventive Maintenance

Find Maintenance Plan and Maintenance Item

With Fiori Apps Find Maintenance Plans and Find Maintenance Items you can easily find and
display maintenance pland and maintenance items.

Figure 52: SAP Fiori App: Mass Schedule Maintenance Plans

As a maintenance planner, you can use this app to schedule all maintenance plans that are
due within a specific time frame. This simplifies the creation of maintenance call objects for
maintenance plans, especially if you need to schedule large numbers of maintenance plans.
For each scheduling run, the system checks all maintenance plans and considers parameters
such as maintenance strategies and counter readings into account when calculating the due
dates. It then generates a maintenance call object, for example a maintenance order, for each
due maintenance item. Which object the system generates is determined by the maintenance
plan category. Furthermore, you can control special scheduling requirements using the
scheduling parameters in the maintenance plan.
Additionally, the following data is taken into consideration during scheduling:
● For performance-based or time-based strategy plans: the maintenance strategy
● For single cycle plans: the maintenance cycles defined in the maintenance plan
● For multiple counter plans: the maintenance cycles defined in the maintenance plan

You can view a list of all maintenance plans already scheduled within a certain time frame and
navigate to the job results.
You can generate new maintenance calls and call objects:

Lesson: Working with Maintenance Plans

● Specify the scheduling options (start/end dates; recurrence pattern)

● Specify the maintenance plan options (time frame for the generation of maintenance calls
and call objects, selection criteria, etc.)

Copying Maintenance Plan from Reference Maintenance Plan

You can create a maintenance plan by copying a reference maintenance plan. You can do this
in the Create Maintenance Plan applications (transactions IP01, IP41, IP42, and IP43) by
entering the maintenance plan number in the Reference maintenance plan section.
By default, you must allow a maintenance plan to be a copy template if you wish to copy it.
You can do this while editing (in the Create Maintenance Plan and the Change Maintenance
Plan applications (transaction IP02)) with the Allow option under Maintenance plan
>Functions >Copy Template .
You can also make default settings for the copy options of the maintenance plans in theUser
Default Values application (transaction EAM_USER) on the Maintenance Plan tab.

Web: Business Function LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY_9, SAP S/4HANA 1709 FPS02.

SAP GUI: Business Function LOG_EAM_CI_10, SAP S/4HANA 1709 FPS02.

Display Maintenance Plan Cycle Information

You can see additional data about maintenance plan cycles in the Display Maintenance Item
application (transaction IP18) and the Change Maintenance Item application (transaction
IP17) if you select the Maintenance Plan grouping of columns in the Current layout.

SAP GUI: Business Function LOG_EAM_CI_10, SAP S/4HANA 1709 FPS02.

Assigning Causes and Reasons Documents

You can link a document to a maintenance item which specifies the causes or reasons why a
maintenance activity is performed. These documents are assigned to the maintenance items
and contain information on, for example, regulations, certifications, and guidance.
Using transaction IP04 or IP05, you can assign documents by assigning cause codes or
reason codes to a maintenance item. Using transaction QS41, you can assign a document to a
catalog code and that catalog code can be assigned to a reason or a cause.
To simplify the selection of codes, you can assign code groups to a catalog profile. You can
then assign these catalog profiles to the maintenance plan category in customizing or the
technical object of the maintenance plan while maintaining master data.

SAP GUI: Business Function LOG_EAM_CI_13, SAP S/4HANA 1809 FPS02.

Specifying End Dates and End Counters in Maintenance Plans

With this feature you can specify an end date for scheduling in maintenance plans. For
performance-based single cycle plans and strategy plans, you can also define an end counter.
The system considers these dates during the scheduling process. When the end date or end
counter are due, the last maintenance call retains the status Hold so that no further
maintenance call objects are created for this maintenance plan.

SAP GUI: Business Function LOG_EAM_CI_13, SAP S/4HANA 1809 FPS02.

Classification of Maintenance Plans

You can classify maintenance plans when creating the maintenance plan or later when
changing it. The classification allows you to organize maintenance plans according to various

criteria and find them easily. In the Maintenance Plan and Item List you can use the classes
and characteristics as selection criteria when you define queries, for example.

SAP Fiori App – Actual Cost Analysis

This app supports you in monitoring and evaluating actual costs resulting from current
maintenance orders. It enables you, for example, to analyze the actual costs for materials and
labor in maintenance or to compare the total corrective and preventive actual maintenance
costs during a selected time period. In addition, you can easily identify the maintenance
activities leading to the highest costs or the parts of the asset that were particularly costly on
inspections. Altogether, this analytical list page offers you multiple possibilities to evaluate
actual maintenance costs stored in the Universal Journal Entry.
Filters allow you to analyze critical costs in a specific fiscal year from different perspectives,
such as the order type, the construction type, the location, the planner group or the
manufacturer. A condensed view enables you to identify and compare relevant areas within
data sets using data visualization and business intelligence. On the other hand, you can also
navigate directly to significant single instances. All this can be done seamlessly within one
page that combines transactional and analytical data using chart and table visualization.

After completing this lesson, you will be able to:
● Explain the Simplification List for Line of Business (LOB) Asset Management

Simplification List for LOB Asset Management

To provide our customers with better planning and estimation capabilities on their way to
adopting SAP S/4HANA, we have created the simplification list. The list describes, in detail,
what happens in SAP S/4HANA to individual transactions and solution capabilities on a
functional level. If some transactions or capabilities are falling away, this does not mean that
they have been decommissioned. Instead, the functionality has been merged with other
elements, or the functionality is reflected in a new solution or architecture.
The simplification list is a collection of single simplification items. The impact of each
customer-relevant item is listed in the specification list. A simplification item can have a
business impact and a technical impact. For example, if the data structure is simplified, the
related custom code needs to be adapted. In other cases, functionality is replaced by a new,
and simpler, successor application — possibly even based on an unchanged data structure.
Simplification items have simplification categories and provide information about the
potential impact for the customer. Based on the simplification item, a custom code check
analysis can be executed. Related service offerings are available, or will be available over time.

Note:
The Simplification List for SAP S/4HANA is edition/release dependent. You can

Lesson: Describing the Simplification List

Figure 60: SAP S/4HANA Simplification List for Plant Maintenance 1909

The following list describes briefly the content of the Simplification List for Logistics PM (Plant
Maintenance), i.e., the Line of Business SAP S/4HANA Asset Management:
● Object List Number Field Length Extension
To enable the processing of even large object list volumes in a future-proof manner, SAP
has decided to extend the object list numbers (table OBJK, domain OBJKN, data element
OBJKNR) from the data format INT4 to the data format INT8.
● LIS in EAM
Future plant maintenance analytics will be based on SAP HANA, CDS views aggregating
transactional data dynamically, and powerful analytical UIs for multi-dimensional
reporting. With this it will be possible to replace the current LIS. You will be able to use
classic LIS and the future plant maintenance specific analytics in parallel for some time as
long as you do not switch off the update of the LIS tables.(Functionality available in SAP S/
4HANA on-premise edition 1511 delivery but not considered as future technology).
● Download Data in MS Access out of List
In most of our list in SAP GUI download to MS Access is offered. This functionality is not
the target architecture, it´s recommended to download to MS EXCEL or Open Office
instead (Functionality available in SAP S/4HANA on-premise edition 1511 delivery but not
considered as future technology. Functional equivalent is available.). We plan to
discontinue this functionality in one of the next releases.
● Scheduling of Maintenance Plan
Transaction IP30 is doing scheduling for Maintenance Plans. Within this scheduling
outdated technology (Batch Input) is used.

Unit 7: Simplification List

Functionality available in SAP S/4HANA on-premise edition 1511 delivery but not
considered as future technology. Functional equivalent is not available yet. We plan to
discontinue this in one of the next releases.
The new transaction for doing mass scheduling is IP30H which is optimized for HANA and
is offering parallel processing at a much higher speed.
● Mobile Asset Management (MAM)
Product Mobile Asset Management (MAM) functionality is not the target architecture
within SAP S/4HANA, on-premise edition 1511. The available functional equivalent is SAP
Work Manager ( Functionality available in SAP S/4HANA on-premise edition 1511 delivery
but not considered as future technology. Functional equivalent is available. ).
We plan to discontinue the Objects mentioned in the piecelist and delete these objects in a
future release of S/4.
● Batch Input for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
Transaction IBIP is using Batch Input as an technology to create transactional data for all
EAM Objects (Equipment, Functional Location, Notification, Order, Maintenance Plan,
Task List...). This is an outdated technology.
Within EAM we plan to discontinue to support this technology in a future release.
Batch Input programs may also no longer work as transactions may have changed
functionality or may be completely removed within some areas.
Currently there is no functional equivalent for enterprise asset management (EAM) within
SAP S/4HANA, on-premise edition 1511 (Functionality available in SAP S/4HANA on-
premise edition 1511 delivery but not considered as future technology. Functional
equivalent is not fully available yet.).
● Change Order and Operations IW37, IW49
Within PM we plan to discontinue IW37, IW49 in a future release.
It´s recommend to use transaction IW37n, IW49n
instead.
● WebDynpro Application for Maintenance Planner (<= EhP4)
Old WD Application covering Maintenance Worker, Planner, and Supervisor delivered in
Business Suite in Release <= EhP4 is not the target architecture (Functionality available in
SAP S/4HANA on-premise edition 1511 delivery but not considered as future technology.
Functional equivalent is available.).
We plan to discontinue this functionality in one of the next releases.
Please use the new Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Worker Role which is available
in S4.
● Enterprise Search in EAM
All related EAM search models have been transferred to replication free search models.
As well within the EAM Web Dynpro the search models are now used for certain object
within the value help which allows user to sophisticatly search for the corresponding
values.

● SAP Graphics in EAM Transactions

The graphical output in Enterprise Asset Management transactions using SAP Business
Graphics, e.g. in transaction IP19, is not available in SAP S/4HANA. Generally SAP
Business Graphics used in Plant Maintenance applications are no longer supported in SAP
S/4HANA.
