Offering Help

Offering help is an expression for offering help to someone. The goal is to offer someone a
hand to do something polite. There are two types of offers of assistance, namely informal offers
and formal offers. Informal offers are used when you talk with someone close to you and formal
offers are used when you talk with someone are older or whose position is higher than you.
There are two kinds of respons offering help: refusing and accepting. If you want to refuse
someone’s offer you have to refuse politely, and if you want to accept someone’s offer don’t
forget to say “thank you” to them.
Offering help is a way or an expression to suggest or offer help to someone who needs it :
• Ask what you can do to help. Talk to your family member or your friend and ask them what
they most need help and offer you services. By offering before they ask you, you are showing
that you care about them.
• Listen. Often what people need is simply someone who wants to listen to the with kindness and
without judgement. So, they will tell you about their problem.
• Do act. If you have already know what's the problem, do act to help them solve their problem.
The most important thing of offering helps is helping with all of your heart amd soul.

the authorities to provide further information).

clear about which image each description describes.
 Story-Telling Captions
Story-telling captions are the ideal type of caption and should be used whenever possible.
This type of caption will tell a story behind the image. By using this type of caption it will
usually be more interesting to read.
 Summary
For this type of caption summary, it usually contains an explanation of the subject in the
picture, the activities carried out in the picture, the time of the incident, the location of the
incident and the reasons why the activity was carried out.
 Quotes
Quote caption means that it contains a sentence quote from someone in the picture.
 Cutlines
Cutline type captions are the ones most often found in pictures and writings printed on
newspapers and media, both offline and online media. Caption cutlines explain the subject in
the image and what the subject is doing.
 Expanded
The type of expanded caption is the type of caption that has the most complete
information. In accordance with the type name, this expanded caption text is the development
of the previous text, especially from the summary caption.
