Dear Sir,
In accordance with your request, we are pleased to submit to you our cost proposal for the above-mentioned
project.
Please note that the assumptions presented in this cost proposal are based on our experience along with
information provided to us. Enclose in this quotation are the following scope of work:

1) We shall drill Two(2) borehole at 10m depth each. The borehole shall be drilled at Client specified
locations.
2) Standard Penetration Test using 2” outside diameter Split Spoon Sampler shall be performed at
every 1.5m interval. The sampler shall be driven by a 63.5 kgs. Hammer free falling from a height of
30 in
3) Undisturbed samples shall be extracted in soft to stiff cohesive soil for consolidation and strength
tests. Sample shall be undertaken using a thin-walled shell by tube in a manner such that there is a
minimum disturbance of the natural condition of the samples either through drilling, sampling and
transporting of the samples.
4) Core samples shall be taken by Rotary Drilling whenever very dense soil or rock layer is encountered.
Coring shall be undertaken using double or Triple Tube Core Barrel with Diamond or other coring bits
to ensure maximum core recovery
5) A Field Log of Borehole shall be prepared for each borehole. Water Level on each borehole shall be
observed and recorded in the Field Log of Borehole immediately after drilling and 24 hours after
completion of boring
6) Laboratory Test on extracted borehole samples shall be performed based on ASTM Procedure
7) We shall submit Two (2) sets of the Factual Report which includes boring logs and the results of all
the field laboratory tests performed by accredited laboratory

Supplementary Provision:
Works which shall be further required by the client or done with approval of the client of which nature is
reasonably outside the physical description of the enumerated works items above shall be treated as extra
work and shall be paid at cost to be mutually agreed upon by the contractor and the client.

Other Conditions:
1) All permits and right-of-ways which may be required by any government or private entity for the execution of
the work under this contract/quotation shall be secured and paid for by the client.
2) Swab Test fee (if required) is excluded in this quotation and shall be shouldered by Client.
3) Drawing/Plans pertinent to the work if needed shall be furnished by the client free of charge.
4) Client shall assist the contractor on problems concerning security.
5) Client shall remove any material obstruction that may interfere with our work on site.
6) Client shall provide assistance (backhoe or any other means) if the borehole location is not accessible by boom
truck.
7) 5,000 peso standby fee shall be applied for delay of work caused by Client.
8) Client shall caution our crew of any latent/underground/embedded installation i.e waterlines, electrical and gas
lines, etc. Existing within the work area to prevent destruction and/or harm individuals .attendant to drilling/
9) soil boring

provide at site free of charge the following: a.Water for drilling operations
10) Work may be suspended if CONDITION’s 4, 5, & 6 is not met. Down payment is not refundable after
mobilization.
