Lead/Senior QA Engineer

KooBits is an EdTech platform that makes learning more effective through real-time teacher-parent-child
engagement. KooBits platform uses its personalization technology and gamification to support students
to learn on their own and at the same time use A.I. and big data to generate learning insights and make
them visible to parents and teachers. KooBits also develops engaging and interactive learning content
through its proprietary backend content production technology and processes. KooBits Math is the first
subject released on the KooBits platform.

We engage children with beautifully designed software and learning content. KooBits software tools are
intuitive, interactive, media-rich and highly motivating. Co-developed with top educators and experts in
child development, KooBits learning contents are age-appropriate, relevant and aligned to the latest
education curriculum and syllabus.

Our flagship product is KooBits® ProblemSums™. It is a highly personalised maths platform for learning
mathematics, powered by Big Data technology and a healthy dose of gamification. This product is
currently widely adopted in Singapore, making it one of the top maths learning platform in the country.
KooBits ProblemSums has also been licensed internationally to Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines etc,
with Australia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and a lot more in the pipeline.

The role of Lead/Senior QA Engineer at KooBits Learning

What you’ll be doing:

• Work in collaboration with product owners and develop managers to understand requirements,
design and develop automated test cases, take ownership of end to end testing delivery.
• Contribute to agility by integrating automated test suites with CI/CD pipeline
• Develop high quality code using clean coding practices, design patterns, relevant frameworks and
libraries.
• Present technical solutions, capabilities, and features
• Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner

What we’re looking for in you

• Minimum four years of professional experience in test automation domain
• Strong understanding of software quality best practices and processes. Experience with a broad
range of testing practices.
• Extensive experience with test automation tools and libraries – Selenium, Apache JMeter, Soap
UI, postman or other test tools or frameworks
• Knowledge of front-end technologies and able to allocate web elements using different
approaches
• Knowledge of REST web services standards. Strong understanding of and experience with JSON,
XML, HTTP.
• Knowledge of performance test is desired
• Some experience in SQL, scripting, Git
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and challenging environment
