Good Morning Everyone

Today let me raise a question to everyone present here.

Who was that one person in your life who encouraged you to study. And saw the potential in you to go
ahead and share that wisdom of knowledge. They might be your teachers, parents, elder brother/sister
or a friend.

For me that person was my Papa. I still remember standing ahead in his scooter and going to the
stationary shop to buy books for my school. The happiness on my face while getting a new set of books
was because of my father.

He is the person who always encourage me to give it a try or “beta tu Koshish toh kar k dekh” to be
exact with his words. With this he showed a belief in me.

I think all of us sitting over here can relate to this coz we are some how privileged.

That how Koshish comes in.

Koshish is an organisation cum family comprising of volunteers who work together selflessly for the
upliftment of underprivileged children. By teaching them we wish to empower them to get what they
deserve in life. We, at Koshish, believe that everyone has some good in them and that they should use
this good to help others. Koshish is dedicated to the cause of educating young and deserving yet
deprived children of slums and other such places so that they can find their place among us and lead a
life of dignity because they deserve better.

With koshish I Dhairya Sharma, can say, the smile that my father used to bring on my face, I share that
smile with these kids each day while teaching them or arranging books for them. Cauz…
