Activity: (Self Reflection)

1. Get yourself a full-body mirror, or at least a portrait mirror enough for you to see your body
parts’ reflection.
2. In five minutes, examine yourself. Particularly your body build, posture, and physique.
3. List your observations and see to it that you write what you see on your reflection in a mirror.
• Beautiful cute face
• Slouching
• Small breasts and protruding collarbone
• Well defined waist
• Hourglass body shape
• Thick thighs

Analysis:
In connection with the activity above, answer the following questions:

1. Upon your observation of your reflection in a mirror, how can you describe your body
build, posture, and body physique? Do you think you are physically fit? If yes, why? If
no, why not?

• I have my natural curves and proportionately balanced both lower


and upper part of the body; my body weights are well distributed. Based on how I
see myself, I’m physically fit, my body composition is healthy also I able to
perform daily tasks with agility, power, coordination and has sufficient energy to
enjoy leisure time.

2. Aside from your mere observations of your body in a mirror what do you think are other
ways to test and tell how well and fit you are?

• Obtaining vital sign measurements such as your height, weight,


resting heart rate (RHR), and resting blood pressure (RBP). Performing four
physical abilities; endurance, strength, balance, and flexibility as well as checking
the body composition or body mass index (BMI).

3. What do you think would it benefit you if you undergo a fitness self-assessment test?

• Fitness self-assessment tests can be used to assess a variety of


characteristics of your body and its capabilities. A fitness assessment establishes
