Earth's crust is a thin top component of the lithosphere or the outside of Earth for less than 1% of Earth's
volume. The crust lies on top of the mantle. The boundary between the crust and mantle is conventionally
placed at the Mohorovicic discontinuity.
The Mantle is the middle layer of the inner part of thE earth. The mantle is comparative hot when
compared to the crust. It is about 2,900 kilometers (1,802 miles) thick, and makes up a whopping 84% of
Earth's total volume
Earth's Core is the very hot, very dense center of our planet. The ball-shaped core lies beneath the cool,
brittle crust and the mantle. The core is found about 2,900 kilometers (1,802 miles) below
