ACTIVITY SHEET
Explain the importance of the inculcation of values among the children to:

A. Parents
Parents are the first teachers and role models for their children." They are in charge of
moulding the child's conduct and instilling positive values in him or her. Children
emulate their parents through listening, observing, and imitating them. As a result, it is
critical that they serve as positive role models for the children. To expect a child to
follow what a parent preaches, the parent must practice what she or he preaches.
However, the majority of parents tragically fail to be that and instead set a negative
example of parenting. Parenting is without a doubt one of the most challenging and
demanding jobs in the world. Being a good parent necessitates constant learning and
sacrifice. To raise responsible and well-behaved children, one must be willing to commit a
significant amount of time, patience, and energy. Instilling and inculcating positive
values in a youngster will make him or her a better person and citizen in the future.
B. Teachers
Teachers serve as role models for students in the classroom, and they play an important part in
instilling ethical behavior in them. Cheating, lying, stealing, and regard for others are all
encouraged by peers at school.
Despite the existence of rules and regulations, educational institutions instill value education in
children in an informal manner. They are crucial in the development of ethical behavior in
youngsters.
C. Society
Relationship values in society represent how we interact with others in our lives, such as friends,
family, instructors, and managers. Openness, trust, generosity, and care are all values that can be
found in a relationship. How we relate to society is reflected in our social ideals. Justice,
freedom, respect, community, and accountability are examples of social ideals. They interact
with family members, peers, and others as they grow. This interaction aids in the development of
social skills such as sharing, playing, expressing sympathy, friendship, and cooperation, all of
which are linked to the instillation of values. At this stage, basic social attitude is established in
young children.
