5.4 Pembahasan Bottleneck

Pada tabel analisa penyebab terjadinya bottleneck di atas terdapat over

inventory pada mesin 1, mesin 3 dan mesin assembly, pada mesin 1 over

inventory terdapat pada putaran ke 14, pada mesin 3 over inventory terdapat

pada putaran ke 18, dan putaran ke 18 sampai 20, sedangkan pada mesin

assembly over inventory terdapat pada putaran ke 11, putaran ke 13 dan

putaran ke 19. Penumpukan pada inventory ini merupakan bottlekneck yang

diakibatkan oleh demand dari konsumen sulit ditebak atau acak dan adanya

perbedaan jalur produksi pada komponen A dan B harus melewati 2 stasiun

sedangkan komponen C dan D hanya melewati 1 stasiun. Hal ini dapat

menimbulkan bottleneck.

5.5 Pembahasan Hasil Perhitungan Biaya dan Pendapatan

Pada putaran 1 menghasilkan material cost 60, machining cost 40, over

inventory 0, backlog 0, dan biaya upgrade card 0. Pada putaran 2

5.6 Pembahasan Solusi Dalam Menghadapi Permasalahan di Lintasan

Produksi

Pada tabel di atas tidak terdapat over inventory maupun backlog, tetapi

terdapat mines pada total pendapatan di siklus ke 4, 12 dan ke 20. Hal ini

disebabkan karena machining cost dan material cost lebih besar dari pada

total income.
BAB VI

KESIMPULAN

6.1 Kesimpulan

Adapun kesimpulan dari praktikum modul V, yaitu:

1. Dari percobaan yang kami lakukan, kami dapat menyimulasikan proses

terjadi dalam lintasan produksi dengan permainan OMG (Operation

Management Games).

2. Permasalahan yang terjadi dalam manajemen operasi yaitu:

a. Backlog, terjadi akibat perusahaan di atas tidak memenuhi jumlah

permintaan konsumen.

b. Bottleneck, terjadinya penumpukan pada inventory yang akibat

demand dari konsumen sulit ditebak atau acak dan adanya perbedaan

jalur produksi pada komponen.

3. Penyebab terjadinya bottleneck yaitu pada inventory yang akibat demand

dari konsumen sulit ditebak atau acak dan adanya perbedaan jalur

produksi pada komponen seperti komponen A dan B harus melewati 2

stasiun sedangkan komponen C dan D hanya melewati 1 stasiun hal ini

dapat menimbulkan bottleneck.

6.2 Saran

1. Saran untuk Asisten

Kinerja yang diberikan oleh asisten kepada praktikan sudah baik dan

sekiranya agar tetap dipertahankan.

2. Saran untuk Laboratorium

Dalam kondisi praktikum offline seperti yang telah dilakukan, sejauh ini

sistem yang diberlakukan sudah cukup baik.
