Students Time

Based on numerous data and studies around the globe that 20% of adult procrastinate
chronically, Studies also show that around 50% of college students procrastinate in a consistent and
chronic manner, 75% consider themselves to be procrastinators, and 80%–95% of college students
procrastinate. Many people suffer from bad time management, overwork, and tardiness can cause them
to diminish their energy and become uncapable of accomplishing anything, concluding them to not
finish their work or assignment making them fail or having severe more consequences and being scolded
by their teacher or boss. Procrastination is a major problem for teenagers and adults alike or can be
explained by a form of self-regulation failure characterized by the irrational delay of tasks despite
potentially negative consequences. In short procrastination is delaying or putting off tasks until the last
minute, or past their deadline. Causing them to be worst at academic performances, worse financial
status for adults, and worst mental and physical health. Our health is greatly affected by sleep
deprivation. Procrastination should be avoided especially for teenagers to not negatively affect their
health and help them develop their time management for their future. They should always fix up their
schedule and avoid tardiness and temptations to finish and accomplish their work.

As mentioned, procrastination has a negative effect on everyone, mostly students of any grade.
Most of each grade level procrastinate making their work unpleasant or unsatisfactory. Many teachers
complain about the work of students who procrastinated because it has no effort, or it was evident that
the work was rushed. It can cause numerous effects such as being stressed, having low esteem, feeling
anxious, having low grades, and many more. These effects can hinder the grades of every student and
drag down their self-esteem for the criticism and result of their project or work. Their grades are one of
the causes of their anxiety, low self-esteem, and regrets. This effect can make them affect their studies
in a difficult way such as not believing in themselves to believe succeed in doing their work and go a
different route they might regret; they will also rethink of their work and compare it with others and
become lazier on finishing. Although bad grades can cause this, they can help us gain motivation to
finish wat is needed and help us reciprocate. One more reason we procrastinate is having bad time
management, a lot of us have trouble fixing our time. There are 2 reasons, one reason is that we are
overloaded with work and get each one to finish making one or many more of their task being left
unfinish or doing it poorly making them lower their grades. The second reason could be is tardiness and
laziness, this cause a lot of problem to the student making him or her fail his class and getting criticized
and other more consequence affect them today and there future But in the end procrastination doesn’t
help anyone and only brings us stress thought it might help in finish our task, but it is not pleasing and
poorly to present because it is rush.

We can avoid procrastination with many things, we should always start with the difficult task so
after that we can do all the easy ones, we should ask help from other people to help do our work and fix
our schedule to be able to finish our tasks.
