Ways of a Teenager like Me

“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to
create many ripples.” – Mother Teresa. As Mother Teresa said, I, myself, cannot change
the world but I can create chances and opportunities or we as a community can work
together to make a change. No matter how big or little, every contribution to the
community matters.

Participating in a tree-planting event or a clean-up event is one of what I can

contribute to the community. Donating blood to the people in need is also what I can do.
I can contribute by organizing charity events, if I can raise enough money; I can give out
food donations and personal needs of a person in need like feminine products, soap
and etc. I can also shop local. For example, I will buy clothes from a fellow member of
the community. Be a good child to our parents and obey what they say. We should learn
to obey them since that is the foundation or basis to start in obeying the rules and
regulations of the community. Do the 3Rs; reduce, reuse and recycle. In this way, not
only am I helping nature but also the community in terms of helping in preventing any
life-threatening and nature-related disasters and reducing pollution and the need to use
natural resources, making the natural resources enough time to regrow and bloom. I
can donate my free time to help out in events or fundraisers.

There are many things I can contribute to the community. Helping out in the
community has big opportunities and help for the people who are in need. Whether big
or small, large and tiny, the community will always have my help whenever in need.
