Finished Scrunchie Measurements

8 cm (3.2 in) outer diameter, 2 cm (0.8 in) outer thickness. The finished measurements
depends on the size of the hair elastic you use.

Materials

 100% cotton yarn, 125 m/50 g, one skein is enough for 3-4 scrunchies.
 Hair elastic, diameter: 5 cm (2 in), thickness: 4 mm (0.2 in). Metal-free elastics
matching the colour of your yarn are the best.

Tools

 2.5 mm (US C/2) and 3.5 (US E/4) mm crochet hooks.

 Yarn needle.

Stitches and Abbreviations

This pattern is written using UK

terminology.

ch chain
sl st slip stitch
dc double crochet
tr treble crochet

Tension

Double crochet using 2.5 mm hook: 4 sts to 1 cm (0.4 in).

Pattern Notes

The stitch count is given for indication only, because it depends on the actual size of
the hair elastic. Feel free to increase or decrease the number of stitches, to achieve
uniform coverage of the hair elastic.

Instructions

Round 1: Using 2.5 mm crochet hook, make a slip knot around hair elastic. Make 1ch
(doesn’t count as a st), 68dc around hair elastic, sl st to the first dc to join. (68dc)

Round 2: Using 3.5 mm crochet hook, make 4ch (counts as 1tr and 1ch), 1tr into the first
stitch, 1ch, *1tr, 1ch, 1tr, 1ch into the next stitch. Repeat from * to the end, sl st to the 3rd
ch of 4ch at the beginning of the round to join, fasten off. (136tr and 136ch)

Finish: Using a yarn needle, sew in the ends inside round 2. Avoid sewing them inside
round 1, as the ends may get loose when you stretch the scrunchie.

Размеры готового изделия

Внешний диаметр – 8 см, внешняя толщина – 2 см. Размеры готового изделия

зависят от размера резинки, которую Вы используете для обвязки.

Материалы

 Пряжа – хлопок 100%, 125 м/50 г, одного мотка достаточно для 3-4 резинок.
 Тонкая резинка для волос, около 5 см в диаметре, 4 мм толщиной. Лучше
всего подойдет резинка без металла в тон пряже.

Tools

 Крючки 2.5 мм и 3.5 мм.

 Игла с широким ушком для заправки нитей.

Условные обозначения

ВП воздушная петля
ССТ соединительный столбик
СБН столбик без накида
ССН столбик с одним накидом

Плотность вязания

Столбики без накида крючком 2.5

мм: 4СБН в 1 см.

Примечание

Число столбиков в ряду указано только для информации, поскольку оно зависит
от размера используемой для обвязки резинки. Увеличьте или уменьшите число
столбиков для достижения равномерного, плотного покрытия резинки.

Инструкция

Ряд 1: Используя крючок 2.5 мм, провязать скользящую петлю вокруг резинки.
Провязать 1ВП, 68СБН вокруг резинки. Соединить в кольцо, провязав ССТ в
первый СБН. (68СБН)

Ряд 2: Используя крючок 3.5 мм, провязать 4ВП (считается как 1ССН и 1ВП), 1ССН в
первый столбик предыдущего ряда, 1ВП, *1ССН, 1ВП, 1ССН, 1ВП в следующий
столбик. Повторять от * до конца, ССТ в третью петлю арки из 4ВП. Завершить
вязание, обрезать нить. (136ССН и 136ВП)

Завершение работы: Зашить концы нитей во второй ряд. Не заправляйте концы

нитей в первый ряд, поскольку они могут вылезти наружу в процессе
использования резинки.
