A. Underline the simple past verb in the first statement. Use the same verb to
complete the second statement, but make it negative. (score 5 x 5 = 25)

1. The goalkeeper wears gloves. The other players doesn’t wear gloves.
2. All the players on a team wears the team uniform except the goalkeeper. The
goalkeeper don’t wear that uniform.
3. The goalkeeper stays near the goal. The other players doesn't stay near the
goals.
4. Some soccer players score goals. A goalkeeper don't score goals.
5. Most soccer players do a lot of running. The goalkeeper don’t so much
running.

B. Read the paragraph then identify which sentences consist of incomplete

sentence. Fix the incomplete sentences, make correction! (score 10 x 2.5 =
25)
 (1) My friend Yasmin an interesting person. (2) She lives in Seattle,
Washington. (3) Is young and single. (4) She was 24 years old. (5) Works in
woman clothing store. (6) Is a nice place to buy clothes. (7) Yasmin likes her job.
(8) Clothes very important for her. (9) Loves to shop. (10) She spends her money
for clothes and shoes. She has a plan to have her own clothing store. It’s a good
idea.

C. Read the sentence carefully, then Underline the subject and circle the verb
in each sentence! (score: 2.5 x 10 = 25)
