GASORB®
º SAFETY DATA SHEET
North American Version
Gasorb has demonstrated excellent results as air purificant where polluting gases exist: it has been used
for example in waste areas.
Gasorb had shown previously to be effective during the attention of chemical emergencies.
The nature and concentration of the pollutant, together with the specific conditions of the process
determine the quantity of Gasorb that you must use, because the nature of the molecules of the vapors is
variable.
The Gasorb has particles of different size, obtained to different temperatures that form its main
characteristic: heterogeneity.
The adsorption in phase gas, is carried out by condensation of the vapor, as a result of the interaction
between the surface of the Gasorb and the vapor, being this a reaction exothermic to so small scale that
it is imperceptible for a common thermometer.

SAEL = Solvay Acceptable Exposure Limit, Time Weighted Average for 8 hour workdays. No Specific TLV STEL (Short
Term Exposure Level) has been set. Excursions in exposure level may exceed 3 times the TLV TWA for no more than a total
of 30 minutes during a workday and under no circumstances should they exceed 5 times the TLV TWA.
