Purpose
This Employee Referral Program Policy explains important aspects of our employee referral
procedures. We place great importance on referrals because we trust our employees know what’s
best for our company. We want to make this process as smooth as possible for our employees
and those who they refer.
Employee Referral Bonus
OCIC will provide a Referral Bonus to an employee who will refer a candidate for any open
positions available. If the referred candidate qualifies for hiring after all the assessments and
joins the company, the referring employee will be eligible for a
Referral bonus depending on the position referred:
Rank and File - Php3,000
Officer and Supervisory - Php5,000
Managerial and Mandarin - Php8,000
Mechanics:
1. Employee shall send the resume of referred candidate to HR Recruitment team.
2. HR-Recruitment team will pre-screen and if shortlisted, the candidate will be processed for
series of interviews and assessments.
3. Once candidate qualifies and accepts the offer, the referring employee shall be
entitled to the referral bonus.
4. Referral bonus is released one week after the regularization date of successful referred
candidate.
5. If the candidate resigns or is terminated before his/her regularization date, the
Referral fee shall be forfeited.
6. There is no cap on the number of referrals an employee can make.
7. If two or more employees refer the same candidate, only the first referrer will

receive their referral bonus.

8. Referrers are still eligible for referral bonus even if a candidate is hired at a later
time or gets hired for another position.
9.All employees are eligible to participate in our referral program except for:
 Senior Managers (BD Director, CS Director)
 Recruiters, HR and Admin Manager
 Hiring Managers - for positions for which they’re hiring.
Managers can’t refer anyone for a position for which they are directly or indirectly responsible
to hire. But they can refer someone for a position in a different department, office or function.
Generally, all employees are encouraged to check OCIC’s open positions and consider their
social networks and external networks as potential resources for referred candidates.
This Employee Referral Program may change over time to add more interesting incentives. This
policy shall supersede any other existing policies or programs related to Employee referrals.
