Automation with SD 3 is truly simple. Forget about encoder

reduced idle times. It prevents the machine starting
unintended and ensures operator safety. Power
Removal conforms to machinery standard EN 954-1
category 3 and standard IEC/EN 61508-1 SIL2 on
electrical installations (certified by the TÜV).

The drives are available up to 6.8 A. SD 3 are suitable for mains

supply with 1~115 VAC and 230 VAC (50/60 Hz) and feature
a 5 V and a 24 V pulse/direction interface or fieldbus interfaces 115 V/230 V, 2.5 A, 115 V/230 V, 6.8 A, 115 V/230 V, 2.5 A, 115 V/230 V, 6.8 A,

Controller The SD 3 stepper motor drive with its excellent constant velocity characteristics is ideal

for applications such as high speed scanning. High torque is available even at low
speeds. Therefore, the stepper motor is particularly suitable for short-distance positioning
such as labelling. It also provides a high idle torque, yet another advantage that makes it

an optimum solution in applications such pick and place, feed, etc.

Still not convinced? With its small footprint (72 mm wide, 145 mm high and 140 mm
deep), SD 3 requires very little space in the control cabinet. And its price is just as
compact as its dimensions.
