The list of national print newspaper, magazine and tabloid category is based on the existence of the print edition and the number of circulation,
the data based on the interview with several media monitoring agencies.
The list of national news television category is based on the current existence of the TV station, the availability of the news program, and their
newsroom operation. The data based on the interview with several TV practitioners and list from the TV Associations.
The list of national online news media category is based on the existence of the online media, the availability of news content, the availability of
standard newsroom and field report practice. The data used the list from online news association. The data also used the national and
international alexa rank from alexa.com and number of website pageviews from statshow.com.
The list of top national media by social media performance category is based on the comparison of each official social media account from each
type of media; newspaper, tv and online. The data compared number of Facebook fans, Twitter and Instagram follower, and Youtube subscriber.
The list of media group category is based on the current existence of group of media that has ownership of various TV, print and online news
media. The data derived from their official website, latest media business publications, and interview with several media business analysts.
The list of media by sectors is based on the current existence of media that has allocated section of specific industry sectors, and media that cover
specific industry sectors: sport, healthcare, business and finance, tech and gaming, automotive, and lifestyle (food, fashion, travel).
The list of local news media by provinces is based on the each type of local media; TV, newspaper and online that operates in each provinces. Data
derived from the local media associations, and interviews with several local media business analysts and local media practitioners.
The list of English and Chinese news publication is based on the current existence of Indonesian media that provide news in English and Chinese
language.
