Frankenhooker

Synopsis
"Frankenhooker" is a 1990 cult horror-comedy film directed by Frank Henenlotter. The film is
known for its eccentric and darkly comedic take on the classic "Frankenstein" story. Here's a
synopsis:

Jeffrey Franken is a talented but slightly unhinged medical student who is deeply in love with his
fiancée, Elizabeth. Tragedy strikes when Elizabeth is killed in a freak lawnmower accident during
her birthday party. Distraught and grief-stricken, Jeffrey becomes obsessed with the idea of
bringing her back to life.

Determined to resurrect Elizabeth, Jeffrey hatches a bizarre and macabre plan. He decides to
build a new body for her using body parts from various deceased prostitutes. He scours the seedy
streets of New York City for the perfect parts, employing the services of prostitutes who meet
untimely ends.

As Jeffrey continues his gory and unconventional experiments, he encounters unexpected

complications. His reanimated creation, the "Frankenhooker," is a patchwork of body parts that
have a mind of their own. Elizabeth's reanimated head and some of her personality are
successfully integrated, but the rest of the body retains the characteristics and quirks of the
prostitutes' former lives.

Chaos ensues as the Frankenhooker goes on a rampage, causing havoc and hilarity throughout
the city. Jeffrey must now find a way to control his creation and rescue Elizabeth's consciousness
trapped within the bizarre composite body.

"Frankenhooker" is a darkly comedic and offbeat take on the classic Frankenstein story, blending
horror, science fiction, and humor to create a unique and unforgettable cult classic. The film is
known for its outrageous and over-the-top moments, making it a cult favorite among fans of
unconventional horror cinema.
