Civil Problem And Resolution

As the name specifies “Civil Problem And Resolution” is a software developed for managing
complaints. For the past few years the number of educational institutions are increasing rapidly.
This particular project deals with the problems on managing complaints and avoids the
problems which occur when carried manually. Identification of the drawbacks of the existing
system leads to the designing of computerized system that will be compatible to the existing
system with the system which is more user friendly and more GUI oriented. We can improve
the efficiency of the system, thus overcome the drawbacks of the existing system.
There is always a need of a system that will automate the workflow of complaint applications
and their approvals. This system will reduce the manual operation required to maintain all the
records of complaint applications and their status. And also generates the various reports for
analysis. Thus, there is a big need of an online complaint management system, which provides
all the above- mentioned facilities and many more.
This project is aimed at developing a web based Complaint Management Tool, which is of
importance to either an organization or an institution. This is an Intranet based application that
can be accessed throughout the organization or a specified group/Dept. This system can be used
to automate the workflow of complaint applications and their approvals. There are features like
category of complaint, subcategory of complaint, report generators etc. in this Tool.

Proposed System

 The development of the new system contains the following activities, which try to
automate the entire process keeping in view of the database integration approach.
 User friendliness is provided in the application with various controls.
 The system makes the overall project management much easier and flexible.
 There is no risk of data mismanagement at any level while the project development is
under process.
 It provides high level of security with different level of authentication.

Admin Modules:

1. Admin Login
Admin can login through login form.

2. Category
Admin can manage categories (Add, update, delete)

3. Sub Category
Admin can manage Subcategories (Add, update, delete)

4. State
Admin can manage states (Add, update, delete)
5. Manage Complaints
Access Complaint info, Change Complaint status.

6. Manage the Users

Admin can manage the all the Users Profile. Take a print out of all profiles.

8. Change Password
Admin can own password

User Modules:

 User Registration---- User can register through user registration form


 User Login-- User can login through login form
 User Dashboard
 User Profile—User can manage own profile
 Lodge Complaint– User can Lodge his/her Complaint.
 Complaint History- User can view lodged complaint and status.
 Change Password- User Can change own password
 Search the staff using Location

Staff Module:

 Register & Login into the system.


 See all the complaints that needed to be solved.
 View/Update & Delete the Compliants
 Gee Feedback to Admin.
