Introduction
Rotational kinematics studies the motion of objects rotating around an axis. Kinematics
is the description of motion. The kinematics of rotational motion describes the
relationships among rotation angle, angular velocity, angular acceleration, and time.
I choose this phenomenon because I love gymnastics, actually is my passion, and I
think we can use physics, in this case rotational kinematics to improve our acrobatics.
Variables

Dependent= angular velocity

Independent= angular displacement, angular acceleration

An example: if a gymnast stunt has a large angular acceleration for a long time, she
ends up spinning quickly and spins through many revolutions. In more technical terms,
if the angular acceleration α of the stunt is large over a long period of time t, then the
final angular velocity ω and the angle of rotation θ are large.
The rotation movement of the gymnast is exactly analogous to the fact that the great
translational acceleration of the acrobatics produces a great final speed, and the exercise
will be well executed.

ω2 = ω02+ 2αθ

Experiment
The experiment that I will try is to demonstrate that gymnastics are 100% related with
physics. When we do our stunts and acrobatics the full outs are very common, actually
the most popular stunt, and sometimes we don’t perform them as we want to.
Rotational kinematics is the same as a full out.
The purpose of this is to be able to rotate more in the short time that we are in the air in
simpler words.
It consists of making several full outs in a way that we normally are used to, and
through the equations to be able to calculate the initial angular acceleration, angular
displacement, and finally angular velocity.

The next attempt will be to make the full out again but this time modifying the
variables, that is, increasing the angular acceleration and the angular displacement. This
way it will be possible to demonstrate how to improve angular velocity and how we
will rotate faster.
