THE COURSE More than 20,000 professional players (men and women) every year move
across 5,000 clubs from different countries. The international transfer
process, although largely simplified by FIFA in recent years to facilitate its
implementation in an expedited manner, still demands knowledge of the
transfer system, including the different stages and aspects of international
transfers.

This new FIFA International Player Transfer Course is designed

especially for people who operate or will be carrying out international
transfers. It provides a short but in-depth analysis of the different aspects
of the processes involved while offering a practical and hands-on approach.

The course is designed to provide its participants with all the knowledge
and competence they need within a very limited amount of time.

The FIFA International Player Transfer Course is one of the projects that is
helping to make football truly global and accessible to everyone. By simplifying
the process and educating participants from member associations, clubs or
regional associations about the international transfer process, FIFA provides
them with the knowledge to ensure every international transfer is easy
and straightforward for their players, giving them the best possible career
opportunities, as well as ensuring the clubs receive the training rewards
they deserve.

The course is aimed at reaching every single club that already carries out or
is preparing to carry out international transfers.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE
The FIFA International Player Transfer Course is designed
for any club or member association manager/TMS
manager who operates and manages international
transfers, regardless of their actual position or academic
background. It is also aimed at anyone who is planning
to work in this specific area or is interested in doing so.
No previous experience is necessary, although familiarity
with the current international transfer system is helpful
for the participant to get the most out of the course.
A good command of English and basic computer skills
are necessary to participate in the course.

PLACE AND DATES

The FIFA International Player Transfer Course will be delivered in one module over three full days, which will include
lectures and practical exercises.

All lectures will be in English.

APPLICATION PROCESS
The admission process is open from 21 June until 15 September 2023. Applicants should fill in the application
form which can be found on legal.fifa.com. The application form should be accompanied by a curriculum vitae.
Up to two letters of recommendation are welcome.

The Academic Board will select up to 25 participants. All applicants will be informed accordingly within ten working
days following the close of applications.

Tuition fees Contact

Participants from FIFA member associations and clubs

affiliated to them will be exempt from the above fee.

The participants’ travel and accommodation expenses

for the duration of the course shall be covered by either
the participants themselves or their respective member
association or club.
